Challenging fun course with some elevation in a flat farm city. Offers a variety of shots & will test your endurance. Water comes into play on holes 3 & 4, & also 12 with an errant throw. Has some thick rough but not terrible & will be addressed soon. Recommend tall socks/pants, sunscreen (not a lot of shade), bug spray, & plenty, plenty of water. If you bring a cart you might wish you hadn’t. Two really steep hills to climb, 1 up, 1 down with ropes provided for help. Several more hills to climb that aren’t as steep. Really good course!!

This course is not family friendly if you have any kids under the age of 6, which other Championship and World caliber courses in Columbus provide. Climb down and up with a rope more than 40 feet almost straight down and up holes. Pads are short for the over 300 ft throws with 4 inch drop offs the nose, some pads if you step more than one step past the pad you're down the hill 40 ft. Majority of the holes flat-footed throws or you start running 10 to 20 feet behind the 8 ft pads, there are a few 10 foot pads, no backfield on majority of pads.
Course appears to be an afterthought by the parks, with too many limitations, what can we put in here, every other event in this park is well thought out, but the golf course was an afterthought with no thought to safety for participants, again it is not family friendly, it is not a course to be played with any physical handicap.
This course is not a walk ruined by a golf game, it is a course for mountain climbing goats. No carts, no strollers, not for families, nor school, nor first-timers, not beginner, or intermediate friendly course. Accident prone for the General Public, Beginners, and handicap.
Limited parking, no restrooms, not cart or stroller friendly. Weekend parking access (20 spots) will be at a premium since there's two archery practice areas and walking path access. 'Trash' = Pack it in pack it out.
Stairs to get down hill are now in, it is between pad 3 and pin 18. That only solved those two holes, there are more holes with pin access issues.
