Great short course, that can be very technical if played from the white tees. Some tee boxes are hard to find as they are just painted wood blocks. Fairways are in good shape but do tend to play through a public park meaning a bad throw may chip your disk on the parking lot. Definitely earned its name from the stray cats roaming the first couple holes. Flows fairly nicely and is overall is a great course for someone new to start on(Just play from the red recreational tees). The gorge, hole 15, although not extremely challenging is a great hole and small mistakes could lead to heavy consequences. Tends to hold up well after rain and you only have to worry about mud as you start the back 9 and head into the woods along the water.

I liked the way this course mixed up terrain I like the difficulty of the wooded areas the all par threes have left no the room for error I did not like the way some holes went over the parking lots and through the playground equipment and marks on the baskets directing you to the next tee are very inaccurate

It is a great technical course. Makes great use of what elevation is available with the signature hole "The Gorge" throwing over a 50 ft drop and rise. Has mix of wooded, half and half, and open holes. A couple holes you can open up on but accuaracy is better then distance here. Fairways are well marked and defined most being lined with downed logs. Finally 18 baskets. There are three full sets of tees, Reds being the shorter and whites being the longer. The second set of whites gives a diffent take on all the holes. All are marked with dug in 4x4 toe boards. There is a kiosk/sign located near holes 1 and 3's tees. The kiosk should have maps and scorecards available.

This course is best played in the mornings and later in the evenings as it plays through some common use areas of the park. Like any course after heavy rain a few holes can become a bit water logged and muddy. In the summer the first couple holes require alot of upkeep, being the only one doing the up keep means it can sometimes get a bit rough. Rarely does it become unplayable. If any hole is not to taste and you skip it play the 19th to fill in.
