Mountain Cove Farms DGC is an outstanding course! You start off with the long open bomber Hole 1 which is a 780' par 4. The scene changes very quickly though as you move on to the short technical 213' Hole 2. This short introduction to the course shows exactly what this course is made up of, which is a little bit of everything. You have long holes, short holes, open holes, wooded holes, downhill holes, and uphill holes. This all with a great mix of holes that play to the left and holes that play to the right. And if that wasn't enough to talk you into playing this course, even water comes into play on this one! If you are looking for a course where you literally have a great mix of everything, make sure you play this course! Out of close to 80 courses I have played, this is the only pay-to-play course I have ever played, and that will not stop me from going back. This is definitely a must play course if you are anywhere near the area! Even if you are outside of the area, and happen upon this course, you will not be disappointed! I can't stress this enough... go play this course! If you want to see this course on video, check out my crew playing this course (with Innova Disc's James "Snappy" Cole) in the video below...

Fantastic course! Beautiful scenery, a great collection of big throws that you won't find elsewhere in the area.

Pros: Challenging and FUN. Multiple downhill throws, and plenty of opportunities to really rip on your longest discs while requiring controlled lines at the same time to stay away from some intense rough/ natural OB.

Cons: The tee pads are heavy duty rubber mats that are pretty uneven at times, and slippery when wet. This makes the uphill shots especially tricky. It takes a lot of time and effort to keep the course mowed, and in the spring & summer, the grass can sometimes get unplayably long. Not always the case, but you'll want to call ahead to check on the course conditions before making the drive down there.

Overall a fantastic course, and well worth a trip to get there.
