Description

Heavily wooded private course with a lot of elevation. A short drive from downtown Corning, Ironwood has challenging but fair lines, easy navigation, and a tranquil setting. It’s equipped with 18 baskets, wood framed gravel tees, tee numbers, and benches throughout. A stream runs through the course (crossing can be difficult when it is high). Good boots recommended. The Nov 2020 layout has 8 downhill shots, 5 uphill, and 5 flat. Parking is in the owner’s driveway. Please text (607) 661-6981 with playing plans. Advise them whose car will be in their drive. Follow the trail around the fence to the 1st tee. Please stay outside the fence. Donation and lost disc slot is on the front of garage (first aid kit as well). No public amenities. Open year round, conditions permitting. Map/scorecards available under Media here or on UDisc.

Directions

From Corning; take Reynolds north (becomes Hornby Rd.) to a right on Dyke Rd (Cty Rte. 42). Go 0.75 mile to the first house on the right. Park on the grass next to the gravel drive. Follow signs around the fence to the 1st tee. Please stay out of the fence line so we can keep the dogs, chickens and ducks inside.
