This course in challenging for all skill levels. The course has aged well, and it seems as though there are new plans constantly in the works. All tee pads are concrete now. The woods demand tight and precise shots. Errant shots are sometimes met with forgiving kicks but more often than not are probably going to add a handful of strokes to your score. This is a great course to play that is getting better every year! A must play course if you are in the area.

Indians Oaks is most definitely a course with the advanced player in mind. I've played it through with a mix of different beginners and it usually eats them alive. Your finesse and accuracy game will definitely be tested when you play here. Holes 5-11 play through the woods and have some tight fairways, often times with sporadic trees right in the middle of the fairway. More often than not, you will pay for veering off the fairway, as the rough can be pretty gnarly here. This course is a challenge that requires most throws in your bag, and the fantastic tee signs add to the fun experience. Play this course.

The first five holes are fun. Holes six through 11 are horrible. These six holes are in the middle of the woods that were cut out to create these holes and they only cut out about a ten foot wide path for each hole which wouldnt be bad if the holes werent so unpleasant to play. They were very unimaginative when creating these holes some of them are extremely long about five hundred feet. Which again is not bad except the design of these holes is horrible and most the time you are searching for discs instead of playing. After finishing each of the "woods" holes its a super long walk to the next hole. I think it took me about an hour and a half to play these six holes because the woods are so thick and discs are hard to find. not fun at all. after hole 11 though things got better except i was extrememly tired from the woods and the long walking distances between holes. will not return to this course. There are better courses in the area so i will not be wasting my time.

Brand new course demands every shot in your bag. Clear, well-designed holes offer a mix of open, tight, wooded, hyzer, anhyzer, long, medium, and blind-hole shots. Tee signs are top-notch with "next tee" indications on the signs and at the baskets.
Watch out for raspberries/thorns -everywhere. Once this course sees some traffic, the rough will be more manageable and eventually pristine. GO PLAY THIS COURSE!
