Morrison Park has come a long way since the people battled the city council to save the park and won! Thank you to Protect Our Parks Hood River and all the volunteers that made saving this gem a reality. All the holes have nice paver tee pads and signs that I installed. Most of the blackberries, poison oak etc. has been eradicated. The stream is exposed flowing and beautiful. No tee pads or baskets are shared. There is a new walking path for non disc golfers to enjoy the park that mostly avoids the holes. The course plays really well and is great for beginners all the way up to advanced players that may play most holes with a putter and have a lot of ace runs. This short 9 hole course offers ups, downs, lefts, rights, multiple flight options on all hole and lots of trees but not too tight of gaps. Thank you again to Protectourparkshoodriver.com for all the hard work! Hit them up if you want to volunteer.

Fun short course right in town. Soloplayer described it very well. These older comments and ratings are a bit irrelevant to the current course.
People are trying to save the course from high density development and hopefully add tee pads and better signage in the future. Please check out Protectourparkshoodriver.com for more info on how to help save all Hood River parks from possible development.

I was very surprised to read the negative reviews on this little gem of a course. It sounds like the course has been updated since some of the reviews as there aren't any criss-crossing holes and it's quite easy to navigate through the 9 holes (with the exception of hole 4, where you have to go up the hill to the left after playing 3). Great little super short course that tests throwing skills. You can play a round in 15 minutes, super short holes. The longest hole is under 250 ft. Leave the driver at home. There's a couple blind shots, major heizer or sidearm flick shots, etc. Bring your short game. All par 3's. The course is right across the street from the skate park. Pretty much only sees local players.Well marked holes, but no real tee pads. Fun overall little short course. 2 baskets have just been moved to make it more challenging. Again, super short holes as this sits on a small chunk of land. It would be nice to see another course with some length in beautiful Hood River.

It doesn't flow......very confusing tee placement from last hole.....the terrain is awesome.....and could be quite the course if it flowed.....short shots can be very wicked if placed right.....I play disc golf for my health.....tough mountain courses is were.you will find me....this is a tough broken land course in a little town.....man if the dude who designed coopers gulch in humboltcounty CA. Could get a hold of this course.....you would have a little jewel here.....plus hood river rocks......sweet lil Oregon town.....I will play it again

Short course squeezed into a small chunk of real estate. Blind holes, overlapping fairways and lots of undergrowth. The course was updated and cleared a bit last year, improving it a bit, but still needs work. Challenging for beginners, a quick par 2 course for more experienced players. Hood River deserves a much better course . . . great town!

The course needs a lot of work but has potential. Hood River does need a bigger course. A lot of discers in the area.

Worst course I’ve ever played.
Full of scrub brush, under brush, thistles, black berry bushes.
Many blind shots
They need to dig up the pins and move them to a park
