Just played this course yesterday for the first time. You play throughout the campus and the quad areas - I am glad the college is out of session - have no clue how you would play when everyone is there. 4 holes are closed due to construction. I celebrate CSUSM for bringing this sport to the student body but with construction and people - the course would be hard to play. Great new baskets though and nice hole guide signs. Might give it a shot again once construction is over and another break in the campus' classes.

First, I would like to praise CSUSM for attempting to further the sport. Second, this course is awful. Several holes are missing due to construction, or (I’m guessing) safety issues. A couple of holes were added to make 15, but they are just baskets in a flat treeless field. As a matter of fact, the 1st 7 holes are just baskets in a flat treeless field. The only challenge was finding my drive in waist high weeds.
Some of the holes would be fun if it wasn’t for the safety issue. Even with minimal foot traffic, I was more than a little worried on several occasions.
Hole 9 was fun. That’s about all the positives I can muster.
