Description

Medicine Hat's first public disc golf course is located in the beautiful formal landscapes of historic Central Park, not far south of downtown. The terrain here is flat and completely manicured. The trees in the park were planted over 100 ago in long straight lanes and they are very large (by prairie standards). This is an ideal beginner course with more than enough difficulty for an advanced player. The course is also perfect for seniors or for players who may be using a wheelchair.
There are three sets of tee boxes (blue, white and red) on each fairway. Par for the course is set at 29, as there are two Par 4s. The first tee box is located near the corner of 11 St and 2 Ave. SE. There is ample on street parking and public washrooms are adjacent to a busy water park, which attracts large numbers of children and their parents on a warm summer afternoon.

Directions

Just south of downtown Medicine Hat and easily accessible from the Trans Canada Highway. Turn north off Trans Canada onto College Ave, north on College Ave to Kipling St
