Options for Listing a Facility in a Public Space

Part of being a Club means being open and accepting of new members! One method of attracting an audience is to list your Club and/or facility in an online database that is frequented by recreation enthusiasts. The following is a list of some of the spaces where you can list your Club activities:

GYMS1

A global directory of gyms and sports facilities! Examples of disc golf listings on GYMS1.

Sports Market Place by Greyhouse Publishing

Sports Market Place is the classic sports reference work that has served the sports industry for over 50 years, offering full coverage of 103 sports—from Air Sports to Yachting—including data on fast-growing segments such as cycling, fitness, gymnastics, martial arts, running, swimming, weightlifting, and even disc golf!

SportsEngine

The world’s largest directory of youth sports programs (now including virtual programs) featuring 100,000+ listings—to promote your programs, collect signups, and help more kids experience the joy and benefits of playing sports.

Local Government pages

There is a good chance your town or city tourism agency (CVB, Sports Council, or otherwise) has a listing of all its recreation spaces. This is a good opportunity to attract locals that did not know your Club exists. Example of local government page.

Disc Golf Scene

DGS Club pages allow users to detail the activity of their Club, to include work days, membership organization, events, and much more!
