MAY 7 – 10, 2026
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, USA

2026 PDGA United States Masters Welcome Letter

Dear Competitors of the PDGA 2026 Tim Selinske US Masters Championships presented by Innova,

On behalf of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, Lake County Florida and the Lake County Disc Golf Club, we would like to welcome you to The 2026 Tim Selinske PDGA US Masters Disc Golf Championships. We are honored to be hosting such a historic and storied event here in Lake County. We have been working tirelessly for months to make sure that this US Masters is one to remember.

The Lake County Disc Golf Club was established in 2013 and over the last ten years has put five different courses in the ground and for The Tim Selinske US Masters this year, we tried to make it extra special by developing a sixth course designed specifically for this event.

We would like to note that all four courses used in this year’s US Masters Championships were designed and built by 1987 World Champion Gregg Hosfeld with World Champion Disc Golf Course Design. He has put his heart and soul into every fairway on these courses and nobody quite designs them like Hos does.

The Green Gauntlet in Eustis, FL - This course is one that will literally force players running the gauntlet, testing their skills in shot shaping along the way. The course has eleven par 4s and one par 5, making it one of the more demanding courses in Florida. In addition to shaping shots, players will need to focus on placement. At the Green Gauntlet it is all about gameplan and knowing where you want to be in order to give yourself the highest percentage approach. That said, it is a rare round on the Gauntlet that a player doesn’t find themselves scrambling. It is a true Championship level course that will push players both physically and mentally all the way through hole 18.

Champions Pointe in Clermont, FL - The flagship course of Lake County and consistently rated in the top three courses in the state of Florida, Champions Pointe is the embodiment of Florida disc golf. The course features two par 5s along with 7 par 4s. Fairways weave though majestic mature oaks that create challenging low ceiling lines that will test players of all levels. Just when you have had your fill of low ceilings, Champions Pointe will let you rip a few distance lines, and when the par 4s have been navigated, there are some technical par 3s to give players a different type of challenge. It is a course that will ensure scoring separation and provide drama along the way.

The Lake Hawk in Leesburg, FL - The Lake Hawk provides a challenge unique to Florida disc golf: Tight Wooded Golf. The fairways are demanding and force players to hit their lines. With a few open holes to allow players to let loose before diving back into the scrub oak and pine woods of Florida. Lake Hawk rewards well placed tee shots on the par 4s and will quickly punish those who stray from the fairways. Players will be tested on their shot shaping and consistency in the woods of Lake Hawk. It is the type of course that will have you throwing every disc in your bag due to its variety of challenges. A tight, but fair course that will provide plenty of challenges for Masters.

Masters Pointe in Clermont, FL - This course is a temporary course for the US Masters. However, this is a far cry from a temporary course thrown up at the local ball golf course. This is a full Florida Disc Golf experience carved out over the last several months by the Lake County Disc Golf Club. The course is a true disc golf course in every sense of the word. 12x5 turf pads have been sponsored by Discgolfcenter.com and add tremendously to the player experience. A perfect handshake to Champions Pointe, Masters Pointe offers a slightly more technical experience with mature oaks, even some topography rare in these parts. The course was tested first in C-Tier Flex Start and then a two round B-Tier in April. We are extremely proud of the work that was done to make this course a reality for this event and we are sure that players will enjoy the challenge of Masters Pointe.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our staff and volunteers for all coming together to make this event possible. It is incredible to see the lengths many will go for the sheer love of disc golf and the pride they have in Lake County. We are all very excited to get this event started and welcome everyone to beautiful Lake County.

Lake County offers a unique Floridian experience and with its proximity to the attractions of Orlando, you will have no shortage of things to experience and explore with your time here. We look forward to seeing everyone and best of luck to all our competitors! Be Bogey Free!
