Dear Amateur Worlds Competitor,

We are honored to officially welcome you to the Hoosier State for the 2022 PDGA Amateur World Championships presented by Toyota. It has been 30 years (1 month shy of the exact day) that the last Amateur World Championship was played in the state of Indiana. Jason Labella and I, along with our staff, are very excited to see everyone during worlds week June 18th-25th. This packet will list our course schedule, course maps, locations of social events, and more.

Not only is this event special to the Princeton Indiana community, but the excitement is shared amongst all Hoosiers across the state. Southern Indiana was the first part of the state to be settled and has always had a rich history of manufacturing hitting its stride with Shipbuilding and now all the components in auto manufacturing. That’s why this partnership with Toyota, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) is special to us. Toyota has been here since 1996 when construction first started on TMMI. The very first Toyota Tundra was built here in 1999. 6 years ago TMMI built the first 18 hole disc golf course in the county. They have their own disc golf club for team members funded by Toyota. TMMI has hosted clinics at the plant including with Nate Sexton. We couldn’t think of a better fit for the title sponsor of this event then Toyota.

The Evansville, Petersburg, and Princeton communities have all been working effortlessly to provide a fun, and exciting time for all competitors, family, friends, and spectators for worlds week. The Princeton Country Club, Mesker Park Complex, Haubstadt Johnson Township Park, and Prides Creek Campground have all been preparing for June and each course grounds crew is excited for you to experience the unique challenges of their course.
