Vibram Presents the Maple Hill Open Am Side

What most people know as The Vibram Open has officially been renamed this year to Vibram Presents the Maple Hill Open. The name is new but the quality of the event certainly isn’t. It has been and will continue to be one of the best disc golf events of the year, played on one of the most challenging courses in the country, Maple Hill Gold. If you’re lucky enough to qualify, the world will have a chance to watch you on the weekend long live broadcast starting Friday July 3rd and finishing up on Sunday July 6th.

Additionally, this will be the third year that the event will feature a tournament for amateur players, with Advanced and Advanced Women as the available divisions. The Maple Hill Open - Am Side boasts one of the sport’s largest player packs, four incredible courses, and a celebration (aka, parties and contests) you’d be a fool to pass up on.

If you’ve always wanted a chance to play Maple Hill in a high stakes tournament environment, but haven’t been able to qualify for The Maple Hill Open (formerly The Vibram Open), then you should try your hand at the Am Side event. Below is some of the key information for the Am Side weekend.

  • The Maple Hill Open – Am Side starts Friday June 20th and finishes on Sunday June 22nd.
  • There are 140 available slots for players in Advanced (MA1) and Advanced Women (FA1).
  • After playing Friday and Saturday, the bottom half of the field will be cut. The top half will play the Maple Hill Gold course on Sunday with tee times and a starter to announce your name.
  • Three rounds will be played between the first two days, with the Maple Hill White course on Friday afternoon. Buffumville Lake and Webster Disc Golf Course on Saturday.
  • The entry fee is $75. The players pack alone is valued at $150+ and includes a quarter-zip pullover custom sweatshirt.
  • Tons of prizes are available for all three rounds. Shoot the best score on your card for any round, you win a prize. Nail any of the CTPs, you win a prize. And of course, placing for the overall weekend wins a prize.
  • Player’s party and contests are available at Maple Hill on Friday and again at Webster Disc Golf Course on Saturday.

We hope to see you at Maple Hill this summer, whether you’re a pro playing at The Maple Hill Open or you’re an amateur playing the Maple Hill Open – Am SIde. The longest day of the year, the summer solstice, takes place on Saturday June 21st. Celebrate it with us for a great weekend of disc golf at Maple Hill and compete in the Maple Hill Open - Am Side!
