It’s Easier than Ever to Bring Disc Golf to the World

Calling ALL Disc Golfers to Throw For More!

Friday, June 12, 2026 - 14:46

The following article is provided by the Paul McBeth Foundation as part of their partnership as a grant recipient from the PDGA.

On Saturday, June 20th, every disc golfer has the opportunity to impact the world simply by doing what we all love to do…play disc golf!

The Paul McBeth Foundation and UDisc, along with a host of other partners, are hosting Throw For More for the second year to raise funds and awareness to bring disc golf around the world. The Paul McBeth Foundation works to introduce sustainable disc golf experiences in underserved locations with limited or no access to the sport, and Throw For More gives the entire disc golf community a simple way to be part of that mission.

Already over 500 players have joined forces to raise nearly $25,000 with two weeks to go until the big day.  The goal is to see the disc golf world come together on one day for something much bigger than any one player, course, or community.  The event is completely free to sign up, and just playing disc golf on June 20th raises money for the cause thanks to UDisc.

Here are a few quick and easy steps to follow to make a massive difference:

  1. Sign up for free to participate at www.throwformore.com.
  2. Make a plan to play as many holes as you can at any course on June 20th.
  3. Share your page with family and friends to collect pledges.
  4. Record your rounds on UDisc on June 20th.

UDisc is donating 10 cents per round recorded on the UDisc app to the Paul McBeth Foundation with hopes of smashing the current single day record of rounds recorded.  Currently that record stands at just shy of 125,000 rounds, and the hope is that the disc golf community can come together to play over 200,000 rounds that day.

In 2025, Throw For More helped the Paul McBeth Foundation install a project in Rwanda and host the first African Disc Golf Summit. That momentum has carried into 2026, with the first permanent disc golf course in the Dominican Republic already installed, plans to install courses for a deaf village and school in Jamaica, and a full slate of additional projects ahead.

Participation in Throw For More helps make these projects possible.

This only works when the disc golf world comes together, so the call is not just to sign up yourself, but help spread the word!  Grab your friends and plan an epic day of disc golf on June 20th. It’s free to participate and fundraising is optional, so there is no excuse not to join in the fun!

See you on the course on June 20th!
