Ricky Wysocki is, in his own words, in complete control.
Calvin Heimburg and Chris Dickerson are looking to disrupt that.
Championship Sunday at the 2022 PDGA Champions Cup presented by Bushnell has arrived and it’ll be an all-out battle to the finish and the first PDGA Major title of the year.
“I was point A to point B and I scrambled to save par,” Wysocki said of his third round. “I think that’s a great gameplan – I have the ability to be aggressive when I need to and that’s in my back pocket if I need it.
“I don’t feel the need to break my gameplan. I feel in control of my game and in control of the tournament.”

Wysocki’s lead slimmed down to a single stroke after Saturday’s 9-under, bogey-free round to hit the 30-under mark for the tournament. Heimburg went 11-under to pull within a stroke and Dickerson finished 10-under and is two strokes off the lead at 28-under.

Gavin Babcock matched the hot round of the day to round out the lead card on Sunday with an 11-under round. He’s four strokes back as he makes his lead card debut at a PDGA Major.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment for a bit,” Babcock said. “I’ve been working hard, and I’m glad that this is the one where it’s showing.”

Wysocki is aiming for his 7th PDGA Major title and the first since he took down his second PDGA World Championship in 2017, which also came in the Augusta, Georgia area. His first Major win, the PDGA Championship in 2011, also happened at the International Disc Golf Center.
Heimburg also has success at W.R. Jackson but is chasing the first Major title of his career. Dickerson took down the 2020 USDGC for is lone Major title.
Live coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. ET on the Disc Golf Network and the DGPT YouTube page.
