Major in Manitowoc

Sixteen PDGA Major champions are back to defend their United States Women's Disc Golf Championship title from a year ago.
The battle begins Thursday on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Manitowoc, Wisconsin players host to the 26th running of the USWDGC, a traveling celebration and competition of women's disc golf. More than 330 players will compete for four days across 19 divisions, ranging from Junior 10, Pro 65 to the best players in the world in the Open division.

Missy Gannon picked up her first PDGA Major title at the 2024 USWDGC in Austin, Texas and collected her second last month at the PDGA Champions Cup. She'll take on 77 other players, including the top 10 players in the Official Disc Golf World Rankings.
Three defending champions — Addison Woodard (FA1 in 2024), Rebecca Don (FJ18 in 2024), and Shelby Cowen (FJ15 in 2025) — made the jump to FPO this year. In FP60, Chris O'Cleary (FP55 in 2024) and Sandy Gast (FP65 in 2024) will square off in a battle of defending champions. Micah Tilford, the FA2 champion in 2024, moved to a record 47-player field in FA1. Nikki Haney made the move from FA3 to FA2.
Defending champions also include Stephanie Vincent (FP40), Juliana Korver (FP50), Lynne Gerber, Allie Lawler, Donna Stanley, Patti Adams, Eva Lutsenko, and Hayden Harper.
They'll have four rounds of fierce competition — mixed with community and camaraderie — to defend.
