Good times last night. Thnx all- The Powling King came out and put the Big Arm smack down on poor little BlaizO. I should have won something for being the highest powling of the night. I know this because I hit the roof while powling....TWICE ! !

i've scientifically determined that to reduce the number of gutters, its better to putt with a softer putter that won't slide as much on that concrete. :confused:

or i could just start making more putts, that would help too. :o

i noticed some people's putters didn't slide too much. i think we need to check powler's putters for PDGA approved discs w/o modifications. i think some people have taken to using sandpaper to roughen up the bottom edge of their putters so they don't slide.

Just finished 2-12hr shifts at Seton Main. When I work I don't do anything but work, eat, sleep and drive. I had a great time Wed night. I've never came anywhere close to under par on any course since I started so that 47 my partner got for us was great. I did make 2- 50'+ putts with my roc and I think we might have used a drive or 2 of mine. But mainly it was him. The CRS kicked in again and I can't remember his name.
Thanks to all for a great time. Who ever's bud light I drank A big Thanks. Powling was a blast, Thanks a TON Vinnie! I was a bit over whelmed by all the people during powling, been awhile since I've been out in a crowd.

We played the last three in the twilight and would'nt had been that bad if we could have gotten Rusty & ET to throw something other than dark disc's. John E and myself threw white and bright green disc's that we could see. But all in all it was not as bad as it could have been. Thanks to all who brought food as the meal was great as allways. Anyone who can't make the mini tee time but still wants to play 18 holes, I'll be getting there around 4:45 and starting a round then. Last week PaulW and I got a full 18 in w/o undue rushing and with minutes to spare...sunset is getting later now each week so its totally doable.

i can bring some kind of food, if i dont have to do some family thing i'll know later, and yes i do have some sort of family /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif :D

we played three times and jimmy won 1, and i won 2 :eek: :D

we will move start time to 4:05 sign up by 4:00 tee by 4:05. this is the last week of random draw. after this week we will go to skins (singles) by division. payout will be by most skins won. left over skins after 18 holes go to no one so score does not play a part of this league. we will play skins for 6 weeks (mar 11) than we will start to play the regular course 1-21. we will still meet at the same place. i am hoping some of the am lifers will test the open water during this format but we shall see. need 3 players to make a division

Not sure I will be there this week due to having to be in Rock Port Texas by 9am thursday morning (my normal wake up time on thursdays) for business. So be prepared to do sign up for me this week if I don't show up. Thanks in advance for yall's help and hope to see yall this week.

Last week I have 3 Crown & Cokes @ powling, 2 more @ Outback & another here at the house. (ALL of them poured 60 crown/40 coke in a pint glass), & I went to work @ 7:30. What the hell BigArm, grow a set & play.

I drove by the course at lunch... over half the parking lot is fenced off with 6ft chain link fencing and the dumpsters in front of it all... crazyness

Here's a thought. Since your car heater works so well and you have keys to the locks Vincent!, how about being my caddy today for the round. That way I could stay dry and warm during the round. Then I might be able to make it.

Hey, Blazio is back!!! Looks like finally a decent wednesday forcast for this week. Did anyone ever find the bbq tools I brought weeks back?? If so please bring them, that way we want have to use Russell's mud knife again!!! Need two baskets and the lap-top for after round fun!!!
