The puter needs to be located near the begining of the lanes, players are resposibile for letting the score taker know your score, and more folks need to learn how to data enter the score.
I would like for Tony to work with a couple of are puter geeks to make the program user friendly.

The bag tags have been picked up and will be for sale tomorrow at the mini for $30 a tag. This tag will also be your entry to the tournament we are having in March of '09, date still to be determined.

Half of the $ from the tag goes to the club for the cost of tag and the concrete fund. The other half goes to the payout of the tourney. The tourney will be 2 rounds, 1 day, 1 round @ wilco, 1 round @ the Rock. To get in the tourney you will need your tag. We keep your tag until the end of the tourney and give them back in the order of how you finished and keep playing for them throughout the year. Tournament will pay top 1/3 for each division offered.

Are we gonna have a big "Christmas" cookout night before Christmas? If we are it would probably be better to have it on Dec. 17th which is the week before Christmas. The next Wed. will be the 24th and probably will be a very small turnout on Christmas Eve. Just thought I'd throw that out there and see how people respond.

Someone said that the power is off at the pavillion where the fire was. I'll check tomorrow or Friday to see if we have power for next wed. I'll let everyone know. If we don't things will change on what we can bring....example crock pots. I'll post either tomorrow or Friday after skins.

I got a lil something for everyone.

yes microwave would be good ... I will bring a crock pot of beans and some flour torts. Heard Martin will bring some ground beef for tacos and some rice. no fire so lets make sure we have things in crock pots or can be nuked. I will bring a surge strip so we can plug in multiple things.

We most likely can't run a micro-wave off a park electrical box. It will probably pop and then we'll have no juice. We can probably bring a couple of gas burners to warm stuff up with.

Microwave will probably be okay as long as we use a different outlet and not the same strip as the crock pots. Just need a heavy duty extension for the microwave and connect it to one of the other outlets!

i have a small propane grill with a side burner yall can use. debs bringing queso and noodle shhtuff.

Sounds like a party this wednesday after the round, or should I say an early christmas gathering planned.........looking forward to being with friends and family for the last time in 08' on a wednesday as the next two wednesday's are christmas eve and New Years eve.............I'm sure plans have already been made for me those two days......just not sure what those plans are......... :o:o See everyone tomorrow and hopefully the round will be as much fun as the after round gathering is going to be........

welcome to town. if coming from austin you can either take 183A to 1431 turn right go to County road 175 turn left. go about 1/2 mile or so and you will see park on right. watch your speed. turn right into park go to stop sign. just before stop sign you can see hole 1 on your left. at stop sign turn right then turn right again and park in the parking lot on your right and walk across the main street that got you in the park. From I-35 go north until 1431 then turn left and go to County road 175 (bull dog storage) and turn right then follow directions above.

Mike Harrell and others who won't be able to make the start time for the minis between January and when Daylight Savings Time kicks in again.......

just like last year, we were able to meet at 4:45-ish and play a fast paced round and get most of the holes in.........i plan on doing the same thing starting in January. So if you can't make the mini but want to play....show up by 4:45 and we'll still be able to play some.

And...now that i have lights......i suggest we have the option of being able to finish our round even if it gets dark. And the bonus on that is....by the time we're done the powling/cooking would be available for us to go join in on.

That's my take on it anyway. Just because i can't make the mini start time, doesn't mean we can't get some golf in and be there for powling/cooking. So don't be skeered and join me.

Re-usable lights are $3 each at Academy in the fishing lure section, fyi.
