Course has been expanded to 27 holes. There is a full course map by the practice chains. Been playing for 15 years and this is one of my favorite, casual courses. Be sure to bring water as fountains seldom work and start early if you want to beat the heat. Its flat, but if its 100°+, you're in for it..

I wanted to update this course for anyone who's interested. With the recent remodeling of the park, some of the holes have been removed/ deleted but the additional holes across the street have been updated. When you finish hole 3, theres some confusion on where to go to play hole 4. some of the locals have set a makeshift hole 4 and 5 but no 6 and 7. Hole 4 is from the light pole near the hole 3 basket back to the practice basket near the parking lot. Hole 5 is from the big tree by the practice basket around the light pole back towards the hole 3 basket. Then you go back to the normal hole 8 and proceed. The cool part is the additional holes which have been updated to a new 9 hole course across the street from the parking lot of the normal 18 hole course. I always enjoy playing this course, check it out!

Sunset park is a great park with lots of distance. This course was great for rollers and super good for skip shots. It can get alittle crowed especially if the weather is mild. If it has rained there can be some OB on the back side. Front side has a coulee OBs as well there is a basketball course and a tennis court you play by and also so baseball diamonds on the back 5 hole. One great thing about this course is you can play night golf in the front use glow and in the back the baseball diamond lights keep things pretty well lit. Lots of bums in the center of the park not a lot of crime but don't leave valuables in cars and lock your rig. Bring lots of water in the summer and the most important thing have fun and go Ching!!!

I played this course on new years eve 2010! It was 36 degrees and probably 30 with the wind chill factor. Good course not a great course. Good tee's, flat and good distances. The time I played this course before was in 2005 it was warm and super busy.. Kids were hanging off the baskets thinking they were swing sets.. Get there early if your trying to get an uninterupted round. =)

First course I ever played in 1980, hooked ever since, still play here every trip to Vegas. Nice variety of holes, intermediate difficulty, usually well groomed for rollers, has some tough OB boundries, great park & scenery, still a fun course to play.
