Make sure you bring a map or else you may not make it through the first half of the course. When I played it had not rained for about a week and the course was like a swamp it was so wet.
The course is like two different courses with one half in the woods and the second half in a large field with a few trees for obstacles.
Sims is a great course with 19 holes(and a couple more that show up sometimes). The first 3 holes are near the lake and 4-7 are wooded.8 shoots across a field by some large trees .the rest of the course is fairly open, with some unforgiving wooded areas and shrubs .the terrain varies also with some small hills and a few bigger hills at the beginning.if you play one couse near Cleveland I would say this is the one.they have a well organized club and all are friendly.I love to play this course in the winter .On the shore of Lake Erie.Mickey 38837

There's a lot of variety in Sim's Park. The first few holes take you along the lake front. The next few have you throwing in the woods. The back nine are mostly wide open, throwing across a field with a few big trees. There's a little bit of terrain in the first half of the course.
Overall, Sim's is a nice place to play. The wooded holes can get a little bit dense, and things can get muddy. Still, a pretty well designed course, and fun to play.
