Course Reviews
Amazing course! Very well marked and has good mix of long/short with trees. I played at dusk/night, and it was great. There's plenty of lights along the paths including lit gazebos.
There's also great restroom facilities with drinking fountains and plenty of parking. Highly recommend for any player. Very fun.
Only downside is the quantity of people walking/jogging around the paths. Be careful. There are also busy streets near some of the holes.
Pros: Beautiful oasis in the desert! The grass was green, and the equipment was in decent shape. Plenty of parking and restrooms. Nice variety of shots - long/short; straight/arched; even/high/low. Something for everybody to love!
Cons: Multi-use park with lots of non-DGers, so we had to skip around to get all the holes in. Very windy, which seems to be common around town. I had to play real conservative to not lose shots into the street or over fences.
Thoughts: The tunnel shot on #1 sets up the course and really makes for a fun round! If you can, come during the week, when most kids are in school, and folks are working, so that you reduce your chance of encountering wandering targets. I will definitely come back and play again next time I'm in town! This would have been a 5-chain review if not for the multi-use aspect, otherwise, this is the cream of the crop as far as I am concerned!
Great course, I play here regularly. Somewhat easy but alot of local clubs have meets here, lvbagtag for example. Open layout, long throwers benefit here, theres not alot of obstacles to test your skills. Overall, fun to play!! Please respect non disc golfers that also use the park, theres a walking trail throughout.
Flat, beginner friendly, well marked and maintained. Not a 5 (need better terrain to work with for that), but well designed for the landscape given.
Played this New years day 2011! It was cold and I still played 36 holes in the artic vegas chill. Course is well marked and fair. You do have to watch for other park user but the course was awesome. My favorite course in Vegas. This course give you a chance to throw a plethra of different shots. Go check it out! =)
This is definitely one of the nicest courses that I've played in my 15+ years of participation in the sport. It has some of the nicest landscaping, including grass, that I've seen in the Vegas area. All of the tees are clearly marked and well maintained. It's in a busy park, so heads up for other users. Great course.
This is a great course, the wind can get nasty but all around great place to throw.

Pros: Mountain view has a variety of hole lengths, optional ob near baskets and fairway shapes to make an interesting round for beginner through advanced players. It is well maintained including nice grass. There are bathroom facilities.
Cons: There are walking paths in the throwing area on about half the holes this often means waiting for people to pass. The tee boxes are a bit short and eroded on the backside making run ups on long holes difficult. There is only a small amount of elevation change.
Overall playing this course would be most enjoyable on a weekday with less crosstraffic to worry about but it can't compare with Sunset in terms of hole design.
