If coming to the Saginaw Valley, any disc golfer will find 6 courses within a 25 mile radius and 4 others just a short drive from that. Memorial Park in Frankenmuth is the most open, has the greatest elevation changes and offers the longest holes of any of the courses mentioned above. Well groomed and intertwined throughout the parks walking trails and picnic tables makes for a few areas when there is concern for the pedestrians visiting the park for reasons other than disc golf. Aside from that fact and the lack of tee pads, this is a fun and challenging course that most always has wind issues to deal with. As with so many course, Memorial Park has 1 silly hole that doesn't even seem like a real disc golf hole, otherwise it's a fun play start to finish. For anyone that doesn't know, Frankenmuth Michigan is Michigan's Bavarian City offering great dining, shopping, hotels and many special theme events throughout the year. It's worth the trip alone to have a famous chicken dinner at the famous Bavarian Inn or Zehnders restaurant.
