Description

A physically and technically challenging, regularly maintained, private, back country mountain course. Steep uphill, high precision, and cross mountain shots (bring hiking gear and water). Remote, peaceful and quiet with impressive alpine views and abundant wildlife. Play at your own risk. Minimum donation - $15/day. A signed waiver (that is turned in at the Donation Pole) is required to avoid trespassing. Course maps online and at the start. Please take any trash out with you.

Directions

Head south out of Steamboat on Hwy 40 to Hwy 131 on the right a few miles out of town. Take CO Hwy 131 to Mile Marker 56. Go north on Routt County Road 179 for 3.2 miles. Park on the road or in the lot by the fence. Do not block driveway access. DO NOT believe directional programs that route you to Hwy 35a (Deerwood Ranch Rd) - it goes through a private community with a locked gate.
