For a flat course, this one is simply fantastic, with enough trees to give you a challenge, but without nuisance underbrush to swallow up errant discs. The distances will stretch your arm, with a high proportion of 300'+ holes, especially on the back nine. Be prepared to open it up! And hole #18 is one for the books, with spongy centipede grass that feels like a ball-golf fairway, running alongside a beautifully maintained pond.
Pros: Easy access; easy parking; well laid out; great distances; good mix of trees and open spaces; concrete tees on every hole; and newbies can borrow quality discs from the clubhouse with an ECU ID.
Cons: Some of the holes are marked as Par 3's that should probably be Par 4's (e.g., 17); only one tee per hole; the water hazards on 16, 17, and 18 can potentially claim your disc if you're not careful -- bring a floating driver if you have one!

The above review is very accurate. With the few years since the previous review, the trees have grown, a few pins now have alternation locations and there is construction on two new holes that will come be between the current 10 and 11. Also, some holes have just flat out completely changed, like hole 17 that is mentioned in the previous post. With the university having a competitive club team, the school seems to be taking an interest in the course more so now than they have in the past. It is very well manicured, they have added a practice basket and are getting brand new tee signs.
Pros: A good mix of longer placement shots, and shorter placement shots are the key to scoring well at this course. Some are holes you are just happy to take your three and move on, which is refreshing from eastern North Carolina deuce or die style courses.
Cons: Trash cans are limited, the flat course can get very hot in the summer and every bit of wind that moved across the United States ends up on this course, so be prepared.
