Proud to give 5 starts on this one! Perfect for all skills, good indications, well maintain and beautiful land. Every basket have a number on it so it's easy to find your way. If you don't have time, play the first 9 holes can be perfect. But the hole 10 - 18, across the street, give you a good challenge. Try to avoid lake, river or gators it's very cool. We'll do it more than once because this course is addictive!!!

Cliff Stephens, home of the champ! I live in the area and can say that this is one of the best, if not thee best course around the Clearwater/Tampa Bay area. It's challenging for all skill levels and is on beautiful terrain.

All new signs have been put in for every hole including A, B, and C so navigation is not a problem anymore and the signs are well laid out and easy to follow. I also noticed a new tee pad for #15 so they are working hard to making it even more top notch than what it already was.

I highly recommend it if you're in the area you go and check it out and you never know who you'll run into there, I was there the other week and ran into Climo and McBeth in the same day! They live in the area but still, it was amazing!

Played the course for my first time today. I really enjoyed the layout of the course. A brief warning: Try to play with someone who has played before (or behind an experienced group) as it is often difficult to locate where the next tee is. Also, throw carefully as many discs become one with the various water hazards. Overall, though, I had a fantastic time playing this course.

This course offers a nice variety of difficult shots. Shooting over and near water, around trees and also near the public road. The waters do have gators but I was not able to see any. One of the big reasons I went and played at the course.
Pros:
Difficult Shots
Long tees
water holes with wildlife
Maintained fairways
Cons:
SIGNS!!! A lot of the holes do not have signs and more than one tee pad. One tee pad and hole was missed completely due to the fact of lack of signs.
Map needs to be replaced with a better looking map.
No arrows pointing to the next tee pad.

other than the lack of signs and poor map, this is a very fun course and I wish I had more time to play it before heading back to MN.

Great course. Arguably the best in the bay area. There is a bit of everything here: elevation, water, trees, technical shots, open shots... It really challenges you and it's a beautiful course as well...

Personally I kind hate going here because I always end up losing a disc into the big lake on the back 9. It's some kind of mental block that I need to exorcise...

Personal vendettas aside, this course easily deserves a 4-chain rating. Might want to swing by the Clearwater disc golf store on the way there though. (Not a plug, I don't even know the owners or anything. I just know I tend to lose discs there...)

This is the best course I've played on, and I've played several. My disclaimer though is that I believe you probably need to throw at least 275 feet with accuracy to really enjoy it. It is challenging in a test-your-skills kind of way, and yet most holes are birdie-able with the correct approach. I really like that they mark each hole with the appropriate par. That is they arent all listed as par 3s. Most holes are a play along the water, so even a professional will lose a disc here from time to time. But overall, it is beautiful, it is challenging, and it is FUN! Highly recommended for the Experienced player.

I loved this course. Yes, it's hard, and yes, the signage is weathered. But there's so much variety...

This is a well known course to many disc golfers. The grounds are well maintained, but the signs are weather worn and faded. The disc catchers need to be painted to be more visible. The varied terrain, the creek and two lakes make this a challenging course to play. There were a couple of portapotties present last year, but they disappeared recently. I would recommend it for experienced players only.
