Course Reviews

This is the course that first introduced me to the sport back in April this year. The front nine is incredible with mostly technical shots. The pedestrian traffic can get busy on weekends, but they typically stick to the playground or tabernacle areas. While #5 is the most challenging with numerous trees and the basket on top of a steep hill, it's my favorite to throw. The back nine is widely open, but beware the Big Blue! The course has 3 different tees per hole, including different basket positions. Overall, if this course had better signage and directions towards the next tee, I'd give it a 5.

Fun course! Shorter and more technical on the front and although the back lacks the interest of the front, the course and park have enough going for it to make it a must play if you are in the area. Bring the map (many tee signs are missing) to aid navigation. Active local group (see Facebook link) is cool. 3 tees per hole - which is great - but might need some more elevation (ok - that will be tough to manufacture - I admit) and new tee signs to score a 5.

I'm a big fan of this course. Bring your bug spray and avoid losing your disc in the Blue River!

This is a 5. This is one of the best courses I've seen. It's very dynamic with one side for big shots. The course has an issue with people wandering into the play area. The local turnout on events has been discouraging and with no city or park dept support this course has gone down hill due to lack of funds. I have been trying my hardest to keep it maintained and running.

Some unique holes await you here in Chautauqua, including some basket locations that will make or break your round. Large old trees cover and protect almost the entire course making this a great place to play in rain or during hot summer days.

Beautiful park, three cement tees per hole, varied shot selection, tight front 9 and more open big-arm back 9. This is a fiver.
