Course Reviews
My home course. It has water, wind, hills, and a few trees but is mostly wide open. A fairway lake (nicknamed Lake Adelaide) appears on hole 10 after heavy rain storms. Some holes may be intimidating to new players but it is a great course to learn on. You will learn to read and play wind on this course.
The green arrow on the pad points to the basket and the red chain on the basket points to the next pad (some are wearing off). Some signs do need replacing. This course was redesigned 3 times since 2001. Unfortunately, since the course's creator Phil Hullin passed away the course is showing some wear. This winter the big tree on hole 2 was removed and made hole two much different. Hole 3 is the only remaining original hole from when it was a 9 hole course.
Please pick up your trash and enjoy this nice course.
In response to "Longtees", the reason why there have been some changes to this course are the following: 1) It was originally a 9-hole course where each hole was considerably longer than they are now. 2) An additional 9-hole course was built at Buttermilk Park here in town. However, neighborhoods started to complain about too many discs in the yards, and so that course was moved to Adelaide Park. Adelaide Park became an 18-hole course with shorter fairways. 3) We had a flood come through town a few years back, and due to that some of the terrain at Adelaide needed significant repair. Since the flood, no significant changes have been made to the course.
A mostly wide open 18 hole course with elevation on a few holes. Recommended for recreational to advanced players. Wind is almost a constant factor. A couple of tee boxes do not face the right basket and the course seems to be redesigned almost every year.

This course could be significantly improved by simply adding navigational arrows. They were apparently in place at some time. Without them, it was impossible to try to navigate the random, zigzag holes. My son and I traveled 50 miles to play a round, and gave up after 8 holes. Beautiful park with great elevation challenges, but without a guide, we won't be returning to play.
