Updates from 2025 Pro Worlds

Below you will find important updates from the 2025 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships in Finland.

THURSDAY — JULY 31

• WEATHER DELAY
  • 4:15 p.m.: Inclement weather has cleared the Tampere and Nokia area. All clear is 4:45 p.m. Play will resume at both courses at 5:15 p.m. The two-minute horn will blow at 5:13 p.m. Tee times will be adjusted on the event page and PDGA Live. Our goal remains to finish Round 2 today.
  • 3:45 p.m.: Play is still suspended for both Nokia and Tampere due to inclement weather in the area and the current radar and forecast.
  • 3:15 pm.: Play is still suspended for both Nokia and Tampere due to inclement weather in the area and the current radar and forecast.
  • 2:45 p.m.: The PDGA will be delaying the event for this storm to pass. It is very slow moving. With that being said we want everyone to be able to get home and get dry if they want. Right now we will be updating every 30 minutes until we have a restart time. This will be no sooner than 5:15 p.m (17:15).
  • 2:30 p.m.: Play is still suspended at Tampere and Nokia.
  • 2:10 p.m.: Play is still suspended at Tampere and Nokia
  • 1:45 p.m.: Play has been suspended at Nokia due to lightning in the area
  • 1:25 p.m.: Play has been suspended at Tampere Disc Golf Center due to lightning in the area

WEDNESDAY — JULY 30

• WEATHER DELAY
  • 6:35 p.m.: All clear at 6:55 p.m. Play will resume at 7:05 p.m.
  • 6:20 p.m.: Play has been suspended at Nokia due to lightning in the area.
  • 4:35 p.m.: All clear at 5 p.m. Play will resume at 5:15 p.m. with two horns.
  • 4:15 p.m.: Play has been suspended at Nokia due to lightning in the area.

TUESDAY — JULY 29

• Player Check In: 9 am - 5 pm at Nokia Field House
• Putting Competition Prelims: 10 a.m. - 1:40 p.m.
• Putting Competition Finals: FPO: 4 p.m. / MPO: 5:15 p.m.
• Opening Ceremonies start delayed until 8 p.m.

MONDAY — JULY 28

• Player Check In: 9 am - 5 pm at Nokia Field House

SUNDAY — JULY 27

• Distance Competition at Tammer-Golf Driving Range
  • Weather Delay
    • Action at the Distance Competion was delayed at 5:35 p.m. due to lightning in the area
    • Update at 5:10 p.m.: Lightning is still in the area
    • Action will resume at 5:50 p.m. Tee times have been updated.
      • Updated Finals Times:
        • FPO: 6:40 p.m.
        • MPO: 7 p.m.
