Don Wilchek #1274

  • Hall of Fame Class: 2014
  • PDGA #: 1274
  • Birth Year: 1957
  • Hometown: Damon, TX, USA

Don Wilchek competed in many disc sports at a world-class level in the late 70’s and early 80’s – notably guts and disc golf. Famous for his thumber roller, he carved up courses and became the most consistent and “winningest” player of disc golf’s early days. Wilcheck has given back to the sport through grass-roots leadership, service as a PDGA board member, and co-tournament director and course designer in the 2002 Houston PDGA Worlds. An incredible talent and champion, Don humbly represented disc golf in a friendly, positive way and inspired new players to become avid disc golfers.
