The NAAC is the largest amateur only event on the West Coast and has become a must-play event thanks to Next Adventure and Firefly Disc Golf's combined efforts to bring together a great player's pack, awesome food, and a smoothly run tournament.

Tim McDill won the Advanced division with a score of 170 (-17) on the Amateur layout at Blue Lake Disc Golf course. Dan Carpenter and Luis Nava tied for second at 172 (-15). The festivities and competition continued after all the rounds were in the books with a final 9 skins match for the four players that shot the best rounds on Sunday. Each skin was worth $100 in scrip to Next Adventure. Dan Carpenter came out the big winner taking home $400 in scrip. Dinner was tri-tip and BBQ pork loin served up by Next Adventure and the festivities ended with a Ring-of-Fire and a distance competition.

Blue Lake Disc Golf Course features long fairways surrounded by treacherous out of bounds areas and a stunning view of Mt. Hood. The course was built in 2012 by Metro Parks in cooperation with the City of Fairview, Stumptown Disc Golf and sponsors such as Next Adventure and KEEN on 27 acres of land previously slated for a ball golf course. It is one of the best championship level courses on the West Coast and will be used for the upcoming United States Women's Disc Golf Championships and the 2014 PDGA Pro Disc Golf World Championships.
