DDGC 2011: Iron Hill Gold

The 2011 Delaware Disc Golf Challenge was once again a test of skill and endurance. The Iron Hill Gold Course made it tough to focus and navigate, as it took the players through 2 days and over 10,000 ft. of rocks, trees, and hill. Steve Brinster (Ny) took control of the Open Division shooting a weekend best, 65 in the first round. He was able to hold off the pesky play of up-and-coming Eric Smith (Va) and local pro/course designer Mike Moser (De). Meanwhile... Joe Mela (Pa) topped the Masters Division by 8 strokes and joined Brinster as the only two players to shoot all 4 rounds with 1000+ ratings.
