From 2013-2017, the PDGA ran an annual fundraiser for a breast cancer related cause, which served as both a way to get more women to play in events but also as a way to give back.
This Saturday October 29th the International Disc Golf Center plays host to the 1st annual "Disc Golf For Kids' Sake Halloween Bash", which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Heart of Georgia. Brent Walton of Salt Lake City, Utah has run this event for four years and is branching the "series" out to new venues. Brent has combined his love for the sport of disc golf, with his favorite charity Big Brothers Big Sisters, and created a fun family friendly event for the community.
