WOW - the spectators at the DGPT Europe Elite Series Krokhol Open presented by Latitude 64 were certainly treated to a show that lived up to the great expectations that had naturally been growing leading up to this event.

And everything was in place for a perfect day of disc golf. The venue at Krokhol Disc Golf Course, the best rated course in the world on UDisc, makes for spectacular viewings, and when the best players in the world battle it out in near perfect conditions on this warm summer’s Friday, well, then something special is bound to happen.

HENNA ON THE MOVE!

After a quite slow R1, Henna Blomroos came up with a round that saw her soar up the leaderboard at the DGPT Europe Elite Series Swedish Open presented by Kastaplast at Ymergårdens Discgolfcenter in Borås, Sweden.

With just a single bogey throughout the round, she finished R2 with a 1022 rated -7 round, taking her to 5 under par for the tournament so far.

She now sits tied for 1st place with fellow Finn, Silva Saarinen, who after taking bogeys on the first two holes, found the level we have seen from her in the last months and finished -4 for the round.

With the forecast promising rain later in the day, the FPO had a slow start at the DGPT Europe Elite Series Swedish Open 2024 presented by Kastaplast.

The course at Ymergårdens Discgolfcenter in Borås, Sweden, proved a challenge with its tight wooded fairways and several OBs that come in to play, which María Eldey Kristínardóttir, described as birdieable, so long as you are able to hit your line and angle.
