There’s a four-way tie in FA50, a three-way tie in MP40 — with seven players just one stroke back — and 19 more divisions either tied or with the leader ahead by less than three strokes.
Opening day definitely set the stage at the 2023 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Adaptive Rules for Disc Golf
On June 15, 2023, the PDGA Global Board of Directors approved the addition of a new Appendix F to the Official Rules of Disc Golf (ORDG), to be implemented as soon as was practicable. We are pleased to announce that this Appendix is now available for use at PDGA-sanctioned events.
PDGA Player Ratings Update Published on July 11, 2023
The seventh PDGA Player Ratings Update for 2023 is published. This update includes all corrections submitted by 07/06/2023 and all Tournament Manager submitted event reports received by 07/09/2023.
The next submission deadline is Thursday, August 3rd for corrections, and Sunday, August 6th for Tournament Manager submitted event reports for the ratings update publication date of Tuesday, August 8th.

During the opening ceremonies for the 2023 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships, those in attendance who competed in the 2003 PDGA Pro Worlds were asked to stand. The same request came for those who competed in the 2005 PDGA Amateur Worlds.
Throughout the overflowing room, countless stood when called upon, kicking off the return of a PDGA Major to Flagstaff, Arizona for the first time in nearly two decades.
