I got thirteen in at Copperhead before the rain and hail started......alright there was no hail......but it did make it sound cooler....

We played Mohawk after the afternoon storm yesterday and there is significant damage across the entire park. :oSeveral downed trees and limbs every where.
On Black hawk, Holes 3, 5, 15, 18 and hole1 are unplayable due to downed trees or dangerous hanging limbs. I talked with Zooc last night and he is out there this morning. The second storm that came through last night caused additional damage in the park.

Mohawk Park will be CLOSED until further notice.

They should get it cleaned up fairly quick.

We need volunteers for Saturday morning to go through Black Hawk and clean up the smaller downed limbs across the fairways and the trash while we are in there. We primarilay need bodies out there with gloves. Maybe a couple of rakes so that the smaller stuff can be piled up then thrown off in the woods.

As an example, hole 3 on Black is completely blocked at the white tee pad. You can not even get down the fairway with out cutting through the woods.

I'll be out there Saturday morning with gloves in hand. Bring a friend to help out if you can. I'll bring some trash bags so we can put a couple people on trash duty while we clear the tee boxes and fairways.

TDSA policy is that once a mini is scheduled we will cover it, we may well suggest to all attending that there is a work party in progress and that they are more than welcome to do that instead of the mini or after their round but we do not cancel already scheduled minis for work days :eek:
We all know that some players would rather play than work anyway :oso from them we take their money and then Joyle will be free to help after the afternoon round is done. :)

The mini should be cancelled, imo. The double O is our cream of the crop tournament of the year, it's a shame we can't encourage the players who show up to the mini to hit up Mohawk. There were 4 that showed up for the 10am Mini.
Santa was there and paid everyones entry.
Santa also provided a free CTP.
It was a CFR Glow TL.

40 minutes up and 40 minutes back from Pawhuska = 1 hr &amp; 20 minutes I have to listen to your crap in the car. That's not really how I want to start my holiday festivities. :(

There have been a couple of break-ins at Hunter over the past month or two. One was on a busy Saturday, just down from the pavillion where a big company cook-out was going on. A lady left her purse visible inside her SUV. Smash and run. No one saw it happen.

Moral: Don't leave anything valuable visible on the seat or in the floorboard.

According to the schedule I just received it is listed as 2 minis two payouts 10:00AM and 2:00PM
That would be $6.00 plus whatever each.
Jim Taylor is listed as course contact and TD on the flyer without mention of who might be assisting.
