First 2 holes go across an earthen dam, then 3 holes in the woods. The back 9 opens up, then a 450' finisher to a terrace.

Directions:
I-20; exit #199, Heflin. Go north, down the hill on Almon St. to a left at the "T" on Hwy 78., 4 streets to a right on Hillcrest. Go to the top, cross RR tracks and turn left on Mountain, 200 yards to the park. Park by pavilion - 1st tee just through the gate.
Great course. Great scenery.
Only con: a couple of the tees are on the side of a hill and it is not a concrete tee like the rest.
