Favorite American Past-time will Play Global Sports Ambassador as Hero Disc Announces 2010 Japan Open Disc Golf Event

The PDGA is pleased to let you know about a new opportunity that has come our way. A new, free website launched on November 17th – called PublicEarth – and it is a great way for people to discover cool places and interesting things to do –like play disc golf.

On behalf of the PDGA Board of Directors and staff, we would like to wish everyone a Wonderful Holiday Season! This year has been the best year yet and can only imagine the accomplishments the association will have in 2010 with your continued support.

The winter issue (#4) of DiscGolfer, with extensive coverage on the United States Disc Golf Championship, Women's Nationals, European Open, National Tour, and much more was mailed December 16.

The 2010 Rules Proficiency Exam is completed and ready to go. On November 11th we made the announcement that all players competing in a 2010 National Tour event will be required to pass a Rules Proficiency Exam before being allowed to tee off.

The Professional Disc Golf Association is pleased to announce the winning applicants for the December 2009 round of innovation grants.
