The 2010 PDGA National Tour winds down this weekend at the Skylands Classic at Blue Mountain in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. 

When most people conjure up imagery of golf in their mind’s eye, it usually is filled with peaceful landscapes of vernal fairways, sloping greens and slightly bending trees tilted towards the action, as if interested in the outcome of each shot. 

Jesper Lundmark’s 5 down 57 this afternoon at Olhain vaulted him into a share of the Open division lead with Denmark’s Karl Johan Nybo after 3 rounds at the 2010 European Championships.

Despite periodic showers and winds averaging 20 km the play was hot during the opening rounds of the European Championships in Pas-de-Calais, France.

Held every two years, the prestigious European DGCs (Championnats d’Europe) are getting set to tee off in Pas-de-Calais (Département 62) in northern France.
