Although I LOVED this course while playing it prior to my scheduled round at the 2009 World's, my opinion changed slightly when I had to play the course after an evening of rain that poured across the Kansas Plains into Kansas City. I am still in awe of the beauty and even more in awe of the realization that someone actually was able to see and complete a course through such terrain, I love it, but playing the course with the very slippery reality that existed during my round had me fearful of obtaining an injury that could possibly take me out of the game indefinitely. My round was played with a main concern of finishing without injury. What made the round even worse was starting on the hole that has a dropoff directly at the end of the tee pad (tee pad = cliff) and seeing one of the guys on our card nearly fall forward and off of that cliff. We all tried to tell him a run up wasn't necessary but away he went and almost ALL THE WAY, HE WENT. Or maybe he was using that as a technique to distract our attention form our games, it worked with me. Enough said about that, I did love the course as it fits within my short and accurate game. My opinion is that this must be one of the top 20 courses to visit in the USA just from a standpoint of understanding the demands and level of success a Disc Golf Course designer can achieve.
