I never called them nightshifts, just stating that they are equivlent and of the same plastic.

Some people can't read, seems worded fine to me. Even says special blend on the disc. Doesn't say it is nightshift, says same plastic as...

I suppose the best thing to do is use size 32 font and say NOT A Nightshift Orc.

The reason for adding nighshift for the title, is for when people search and want a nightshift, they can have something is the same or simmilar

Just as an FYI, I'd avoid dealing with miked420420420 on eBay. I bought 2 discs from him, but due to how eBay charges shipping, I paid through eBay and ended up with a $3 overcharge since it didn't combine shipping costs. Anyway, this guy didn't respond to a single email in 2 weeks, I called him once and he said he'd take care of it, but almost a week later there was still no change and no response. I got the discs, and left negative feedback because of the horrible communication and that he still had my money and hadn't responded. He comes back and leaves me two negatives saying I lied, am a *******, etc. So personally, I'd avoid buying from this guy, since it's not worth the trouble.



It took awhile for me to get money out of him before and he sells dyed discs as Rare Black Champion plastic. Hes a scammer.

Id say get used to it. The new Stars plastic had Protos run with regular Champion Stamp, and they are also making appearences on Ebay. Im yet to hold a Tulsa Orc in my hand but have several Night Shifts, and can promise that these proto Stars discs will also be advertised as Night Shift Orcs, because of the stamp, and the feel. A '05 Special Blend feels nothing like a Night Shift, but if you had neither to compare and recived one of the Proto Star discs, you would have to assume its a NS.

Arguing is pointless when I have no interest whatsoever in the auction, but you really show very little comprehension of the disc buying market.

Since you decided my analogy is flawed, we'll go to one you can't complain about. First run CE Valkyries as opposed to second run CE Valkyries. Or second to third. That truly is essentially the same plastic, mix, etc, but came out as entirely different discs. Your logic would dictate they are the same, but I assure you that if you sold someone a third or fourth run CE Valk and called it a first/second run, you'd have the disc golf hounds on your heels for false advertising.

I see your point, but 2nd run Valks are the easiest to distinguish, besides the 1st runs. The 3rd and 4th runs were similar feeling, but 2nds were true flat tops. I had some that were almost sunken, although, they all felt the same as far as plastic went.

Here is the title of the Orc's you are selling.

If someone wanted a "Nightshift" Orc, and they read this, not knowing that "Nightshift" and "Special Blend" are different, they could assume that this is a "Nightshift" Orc. IF a person with less experience than yourself heard that "Nightshift" Orcs are the way to go, and they want one, I think they might believe they have found one! Remember, we don't all have the same knowledge about discs. Some have very limited perspective.

The nightshift Orc and the special blend Orc are the same thing as far as the plastic. I said earlier, if person was collecting, they are being misled but if they are wanting one to throw, they are the same plastic, just a different stamp.

Since the TDSA is selling the special blends for Am Worlds, I contacted the person that felt they were misled and they are sending us the disc in question and we are giving them what they want in trade. At least this buyer will be satisfied.

That does sound cool.....but why would a non-disc producer (Nike) think they know more about the right plastic for flying discs than a flying disc manufacturer (Gateway)?

I don't know exactly how it went down. He could of asked Nike or Nike talked to him. I don't know. Either way it still sounds cool.

Also, I think there was a problem with the stamp as many of them were being sold as 8x KC Rocs. I'm pretty sure innova said that they wouldn't stamp any more like it.

I believe Little Wing ran about 100 of these but Innova will no longer stamp them because they look like an 8x roc and the fact that they did not get permission to use Jimi Hendrix's autograph. Most have sold for over $50. I got a disc and a shirt for $12 when they were selling them, but they have all been sold out for about a year now.

I have had at least 12 Es-330's I have 4 in my collection that I am keeping. A burgundy mist, a red, a sunburst, and a blonde. All of those are staying with me for many years to come. I have had well over 300 guitars in the last 5 years. My favorite is my 1947 Gibson L-5 with dual mccarty pickups.

Pictures for the last 2 didn't come up, but that cherry sunburst is sweet! I've never been a fan of the 330's sound; I prefer the almost tinny sound of the telecaster (got a chance to play on some lat 50's/early 60's models, and the sounded SWEET), and if I want something fuller, I'd go with a Les Paul.

What are the Yellow 01' USDGC CE Roc's going for these days.

Rocs are going for alot now and more down the road. Id say close to 250- 300$ for mint unused. Maybe more as its Christmas and discs are selling pretty well. The TL would probably go for between 20-35$ , depending on the stamp and a run #. Thats being optimistic on both discs, but possible.

FYI...

The "18" Time roc is a 10x Roc, which is made of the of infamous 8x Mold (2nd most sought after roc, next to the 01 CE). Josh cleverly (as do others) calls it the 18x roc...

We only have so much room to put info in the Main header of the auction.

Again 18X is short for 8X mold, 10X plastic. If you read the auction it states that.

yeah, my buddy and I were drooling over that first roc. I mean that thing is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I already have one, but without the sweet colorjob.

And yeah, I've never had to dispute anything before... it just puzzles me why he would do this after acting so cool when the mistake was first pointed out to him. Shrug...

It can be so frustrating. I had 2 members buy a disc and then never paid or responded to emails. Get this and I didn't win the dispute. It was unclear why on ebay. It took forever to even get that response. Sucks.....

I use eBay a lot, over 1000 items purchased. I never use Pay Pal. I'm in no hurry so I prefer to send personal check. Picked up a sweet proto 1950's Ernest C Robes proto Space Saucer last night.

Anyone ever heard of a CFR Beast-L? :confused:

Beast-L could -- i guess :confused: -- refer to the 2x Barry Schultz version with the tweak that made them less stable than originals, but CFR??? Is it a tournament stamp? got a link?

edit: just saw the seller is jaypee -- i have had very good experiences trading with Jaypee via this site so i'll let him explain the descript. i think the title line on Ebay limits what you can say ... so may be it's shorthand for a CFR Champion Beast in the tweaked 2x mold (which is less stable than the original) ...

Be very careful buying NS Orcs from Discgolff. I got one buy it now and its a regular pink/red Orc. He is also selling other colors similar to the Night Shift colors and saying they are the real deal. His claims are that he bought them that way and Im an #$*&$! that doesnt know plastic. He also insists I sold him discs that were falsely advertised over 4 months ago, yet he never complained then. Anyone thats made a purchase from me knows my auctions are described as perfect as possible. Youve been warned.

Yeah, that's really irritating. I reported the first 150 listings, but I got tired of the cut and paste game with the item #'s. I talked to a rep on the online help/chat thing and they said that the only way to take care of it is through the listing policy reporting email form. The form only takes item #s, so I can't just tell them that there's a huge problem and please fix it. What a pain. Hopefully some one catches on when they recieve 15 emails with 10 listings each.

Fabricio is a trip. For a while he sold discs und the the user name "Ken Climo" and then said that he was out of the disc golf business. Looks like he's back. I've bought some CE plastic from him. Some good deals, but most discs had variable amounts of ink. I think that there's an old thread on the board (circa a year or so ago) about him.

Hilarious. I left the "wizard" disc floating out in the middle of a pond last sunday afternoon. It was about 40 degrees, getting dark, and the disc was drifting so slowly it wouldnt be within reach for hours (with any size tree branch). Posted on a local board that I had lost it and someone tipped me off to the ebay listing. I cant believe this guy says he found it 2 weeks ago when I lost it just last sunday (3/6). He found it and had it posted online immediately. The disc is over a year old and hardly "brand new" despite how it looks in the picture.
