This is a heads up to Ebayers: I recently purchased a Pro Line Beast { original} from a seller Ided as Heiner200 {?} This seller claims to advertise any kind of flaws in his discs being sold, and basically is a liar. What I recieved was a completly warped piece of crap that has flash removing chew marks surrounding the outer rim. I sent him a response three days ago and still havent heard back.I sell alot of discs on Ebay and found this very unproffesional. Perhaps Im blowing this out of proportion, but this was the WORST Innova disc Ive ever seen,including old CE X-outs that were so dented they looked like Mojos. If you are him or know him, please ask him to read this or my messages, before I blast his feedback. Thanks.

I know Bob in orlando that sold you the Pro Line Beast. Although I see him once or twice a year I have never gotten him to respond to e-mails and I think you should try his phone.....probably a computer-phobia....last I heard he was sitting on a bunch of the Pro line Beasts and he might be convinced to replace it but I can't vouch for him beyond that as I don't know him that well. His name is Bob Lewis and he has a little pro shop at Barnett Park in Orlando, FL.

yes this is the prototype for the 8x KC Roc. I'm not sure why they don't sell for the same high prices as the actual 8x rocs, but it's probably because some people don't realize the Rainbows were the 1st runs of the 8x.

that's a good question there. i'm pretty sure both of those are proto 8x's but i'm not sure what the difference is besides the appearance of the stamps.

I have added two discs to e-bay... a new RARE Champion "Gummy" Beast at 163g (This disc is so clear, it's like looking through a window), and a Champion Texas 10 T-Bird TL @ 171g. Chris Ware has asked me to sell these discs to raise money for the Tony Ware "Flying Solo" Memorial fund.

Tony Ware, brother of Chris Ware, as many of you now know, passed away at the age of 47. Tony, who's nickname was Solo, leaves behind many family members and friends, including many disc golf friends and most importantly, an 9 yr. old son, Anthony Chance Ware. Proceeds from this sale will be placed annually into a fund for Chance, that will be turned over to him when he turns 18.

Chris is a friend to all disc golfers, and has been a great supporter of Disc Golf in Texas. We all have Solo, PDGA #5500, to thank for that. It was Solo's passion for the game and his encouragement that led to our friend "Seewhere" becoming the force for DG in Texas that he is.

I would make sure he is a legit account on paypal. I've heard of spoofs using stolen credit cards. Not saying he is one of them. But it's smart to be safe.

I have been given the run around for over 60 day's. So i can't file on this twerp. I tried all means possible,but because i was not fully aware of Ebay/PayPal policy. There is a 15 day difference between the 2 on filing 60 for Ebay , but only 45 for PayPal. I had to resort to SquareTrade after which he agreed to send my $$ back to me.

Alas he still has not sent me anything. So i will get my $34. in neg. feedback for him and to let all here no that he is "FULL OF SHeeT" Twice he claimed to have sent me the Disc's the first time he said well i don't know what happened to your disc's.........but i will send you 9 more and a full refund,... "but,they will not be "WORTH" the one's you bought" that included a CE Glo Roc,CE San Saba Dub'Z Classic Roc along with 7 other used disc's. Oh but those never arrived either nor the refund that he said was a Money Order in his Email to me. So then he claimed that "THE CHECK" He sent me for my refund was CASHED and he was done with this. I asked him to please find out who &amp; where the "CHECK" was cashed, as i never got it and would'nt you know it he would'nt reply back.


When i get ahold of PayPal to file i am told it's to late but i do find out that he does have other complaint's but not enough to do any thing against him or to shut him down.

So i file with Square Trade and he agree's to send my refund via PayPal. That was almost 2 week's ago.

So just a HEAD'S UP to all EBAYER's. He mainly sell's Sports Cards but he does sell used Disc's also. So if any of you TEXAN'S want to do what you do best in case you happen to run into him.....................:eek:

While i was waiting on this situation to work itself out i bought Disc's from Bucky &amp; Frizwiz they arrived no problem. :D:D

ok, so 32.50 would be a 50 cent profit. I bet if you figure out what that same roc would be worth by next year, and you calculate the profit made by holding the disc for 1 year and divided it daily, you'll see that 50 cents is more than generous for 11 days.

For me, the special blend roc wasn't anything special... I had some from the first batch, and when Dave said the second batch was from the same mold, I wasn't intersested....

Good job almost paying off your airfare. When the 04's came out, I bought 20 and had them overnighted from Zonedriven. They sold the next day on ebay for $50 each... 04's were when they sold out so quickly. Profit of 20 points each... gravy, pure gravy. Nothing wrong with being entrepreneurial from time to time.

Actually, I still have them all. I have tried occasionally to sell one but I will keep 2 of the ones I got from you and an Orange one I got elsewhere. Those things are almost to rare to try and sell, alot of the plastic I sell is to newer throwers buying a disc "That Guy" threw far. Most collectors already have one and I would love to throw them but I couldnt. I wish I could.

A fun cover band to help me re-live past glory and play a little music, is nothing like a signed original band. Further, I'm not keen on our name anyway, but it makes my drummer feel good, since he's been using it for his bands since we were teenagers.

Stealing someone's company's identity of a for profit business (albeit one that never made much profit) and putting it on your stuff to sell for profit is entirely different. Even someone as prone to useless debate and of questionable capacity to understand such as yourself, should understand that. :)

i was in a cover band in the 80's that had to change its name because a signed band had the same name. so, in fact, they do care.

BTW folks, Chuy was the one who came up with the original concept, which we then worked with for a while and I paid my graphic artist several hundred dollars to make it look professional.

i remember seeing it on your avatar now. i think its entirely possible if he/she hasn't been on this message board that they may have never seen your logo. im not saying this logo wasan't spawned from yours, im saying its definitely not outside the realm of possibility. but, you should confirm that before you resort to namecalling and accuse him/her of stealing.

btw, if it did come from your logo, you should be entitled to 50% of all profits.

If it is in fact trademarked then a simple phone call to a lawyer and I'd bet about $100.00 will settle the issue. The lawyer will send a letter asking for a cease and desist or monies paid in royalties. However, it can be argued their representation is different enough from yours, subsequently leaving you out in the cold on this one. Good luck!

and IF it is actually trademarked, there could be an abandonement issue unless the trademark was actively used in the promotion of the business regularly AND recently.

Yeah, there is enough of a difference in your version and the ebay version.

If you notice, the second to last one in the ebay version has a golf club. In the original, it has a spear.

Just as an FYI, I'd avoid dealing with miked420420420 on eBay. I bought 2 discs from him, but due to how eBay charges shipping, I paid through eBay and ended up with a $3 overcharge since it didn't combine shipping costs. Anyway, this guy didn't respond to a single email in 2 weeks, I called him once and he said he'd take care of it, but almost a week later there was still no change and no response. I got the discs, and left negative feedback because of the horrible communication and that he still had my money and hadn't responded. He comes back and leaves me two negatives saying I lied, am a *******, etc. So personally, I'd avoid buying from this guy, since it's not worth the trouble.

Just as an FYI, I'd avoid dealing with miked420420420 on eBay.



That guy miked420420420 has a ton of negatives in his feedback. Even from respected eBay sellers like channelzdj.

Tip: When buying from ebay, have the seller send you an invoice... that way they can manually adjust the shipping (when combining items) and you pay what their invoice says...
