I'm going out of town in about 30 minutes and I have 5 eBay auctions that end in less than 12 hours. This means I can't edit them with a note telling the winners that I won't be able to ship for a few days. My e-mail service doesn't let me do autoresponders either, so what should I do? How can I notify the people that the discs won't be shipped until Wednesday to avoid non-selling seller complaints?

You shouldn't have a problem unless they pay with Pay Pal. Snail mail wouldn't get to you until Wednesday anyhow. Ask a friend to put these on a watch list, then they could notify the winner letting them know you're away for a few days. Just an idea, or give someone your password to do this.

They are doing PayPal. Luckily, the hotel I'm at has an internet connection, so I can just email the winners from here. Thanks anyways for the advice.

I noticed that you charge sales tax for Tx res. I also noticed no "quality" discs.....lol. J/k. I'm biased.

Why do some ebayers charge sales tax, and others dont?

I charge in the state of TX to cover my *ss and they are quality, used discs...Apparently some people think so if they bid over $70 on used plastic (one is new).... :D

I was refering to Discraft plastic........LOL......that's why i'm biased.

Anyway, why do so many people not charge tax? Is it because they aren't doing the volume that you do? You must be claiming this come tax time, i guess others are not?

I forgot about your Bias..that is also why I am getting rid of it..useless disc to me..but others love them.

Not too sure on the taxes...just when I setup my disc sale a while back, that was an option for shipping within the state I live in. Guess the others are skidding around the tax man, but I figure it is better to be safe than sorry
