World Ranking Update July 2013

Monday, July 22, 2013 - 20:13

Ricky Wysocki retains the top spot in the World Rankings on the doorstep of the 2013 Pro Worlds with current World Champ Paul McBeth moving up to second on the heels of his wins at the European Open and Copenhagen Open. For this update, the results from these recent Majors have been included but the players' ratings only reflect events reported through June 11th. These rankings now include all men who have a rating of at least 1025 based on at least 12 rounds even if they have not played any Majors in Open during the past year.

Valarie Jenkins and Catrina Ulibarri remain knotted at the top of the World Rankings. Paige Pierce, with back-to-back Major wins, is poised to make a move up the rankings at the next update if she does well at Worlds along with everyone's ratings catching up from important events in the past two months. Defending World Champ, Sarah Hokom, and Sarah Cunningham, defending World Champ from 2010 Crown Point Worlds, are virtually tied with Paige in points and can also make a move at the upcoming Worlds returning to Crown Point. These rankings now include women who have a rating at least 950 based on at least 12 rounds even if they have not played any Majors in the Open Women division during the past year.
