It's about time I got my own thread so I can tell it like it really is!

Dateline: June 9th, 2005

Tonight's mini is 6:30 at McClure. Ace pot is maxed out at $500. :)
Unfortunately that money still appears to be STUCK up Twoputt's wazzoo! :(....After the disappointment of the failed recovery attempt last week, there will be a protologist, a case of KY jelly, and a backhoe on stand by at the course tonight to insure the winner does not once again go home empty handed should an ace be hit....Good luck to all. :)

wforest
Jun 09 2005, 03:54 PM
... actually maxed out at $599.00 ! ...

wforest
Jun 09 2005, 04:04 PM
... before they're all gone ... go to Embassy Suites ( behind Drysdales 33rd & Memorial ) ... their Gift Shop is changing ownership ... Innova Golf Discs ( DX , Pro-Line , Champion Candy ) are all on sale at 50% OFF ... still some nice selection of the good stuff ... current owners are re-locating out of town ... Diana and her husband seem like real good folks ; but they are moving by the end of June ...
.
... get some "real deals" while you can ......
.
.
... ps : I saw a nice 166g White ProLine Cobra there today ... sweet for the ladies ... go get her one , FurDog ... and maybe some Roc's for yourself ... :)

sschumacher
Jun 09 2005, 04:08 PM
Yea but the max someone can take home is $500 isn't it, with the rest getting carried over to the next one? Imagine if it was unlimited!...How many people do you think would show up for a $1000 dollars or more ace pot? :D You might even have to run multiple rounds. :)

letho
Jun 09 2005, 04:10 PM
nope $599 is max. reced starts when it goes to $100.00 after receds gets to $100.00 until it is hit goes to the club if i am not mistaken.

twoputtok
Jun 09 2005, 04:12 PM
Why don't you come out tonight and I'll make sure you don't go home empty handed. :o:D:o

Jun 09 2005, 04:16 PM
Hear me now! BELIEVE me later, there will be a sizeable deposit into my bank account after I ring up either 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,or 15

Calling my shot, even listed the number that will go down. :D

twoputtok
Jun 09 2005, 04:21 PM

I don't think any goes to the club, at least they have never given me any to deposit. Once the pott hits $599 and the reseed starts at $100, there becomes a second ace pot and continues to build.. In theory, you could actually hit an ace for $599 and do it again at the next mini on the same course.

sschumacher
Jun 09 2005, 04:27 PM
Dam! Who let you in here!..Shouldn't you be preparing for childbirth?....On top of that you left the door open and Kevin got in! Now we're all screwed. ;)....Next thing you know, Disc Pimp is going to show up and get my thread deleted! :( :D

Your thread stinks of dog poop but its prolly cuz dogs like you like their own ARSE and now your blowing out all this hot and and stinking the place up. Man you need to be given a bath and a good flea bombing. TwoPutt is going to regulate on you like a Pitbull on a Tea Cup Poodle. Your going to get DESTROYED!!!!!!!!!

If you think you got game then come up to MI for the DGLO and play me for 50 bucks a Round Lazyshagbiotch :D

wforest

... it's ALL CASH all right ... but I don't think your concern of "where to put it" is quite as worrisome as FurDog's concern of "from where it dispenses" ... especially if TwoPutt were handling the "payout" ... :o

Sleep permitting....
Congrats Steve....sorry we missed it...
I am just hacked.....those stubborn airline pilots won't let me drive...I have more simulator hours than they do, I even know the routes and the landmarks...you'd think they'd like to take a break....the rats!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the time to flip a disc..pretty tight schedule..waaaaaaaa.....would have liked to have seen Zebulon...or any disc golf baskets....phoooey....my Super Puppy would have liked to have touched East coast chains

The other day I read the following quote:

On ace pot nights, I don't make or accept side bets or side challenges. Its about the ace, not the score.

This made me wonder what the difference is between Ace Pot night and any other night. Shouldnt every night be Ace Pot night?... To me its like the difference between Hooterville and Tunatown. Birdies, pars, and bogeys all live in Hooterville but aces reside in Tunatown. We all have to live, work, and play in Hooterville but every once in a while some of us get to go experience the lights, smells, and attractions that Tunatown has to offer.

We all are in search of ace. We chased it as teenagers and when we became adults.. a lot of us even got married for it. Oh the bliss of marriage. :) Ace runs every night at first but then, as time went by, the ace runs became further and further apart and after a while,.each one started to look like a rerun of the last one. It seemed as if the bright lights had dimmed and streets of Tunatown were closed to all tourist activity.. :(.. But then came divorce and trips to Tunatown once again became a viable possibility....No longer was the possibility of getting some "Ace" based on whether you hysered or anti-hysered, scoobied or thumbed it;....all the sudden anything was possible and if you woke up in the morning with "coyote ace" (and yes I mispelled that) on your arm......biting your arm off was no longer the only option available. The best thing about an ace run is that you are always looking at it from behind, ...which in turn allows for a lot of room for imagination.

I guess "score" is important to some but "ace" is what makes the world go round. :)...Do yourself a favor and get some "ace" in your life!

On Tuesday June 28th the following people got some ace and took a trip to Tunatown.

Matt Eklund Advanced Masters
Jesse Crew Intermediate
Jeff Evans Intermediate....

Congratulations and may the Tuna be with you!

Obviously Dave has "Anger Management" issue's. :(...For some reason it causes him to modify the number of holes in a round from 18 to 17, thus allowing himself (within his own mind) some sense of dignity as if walking off, getting in his car and storming out of the parking lot was a true sign of manhood and maturity....I would like to assume that he had a senior moment and forgot that he had a side challenge with me but it makes me wonder if (in his mind) losing to Furdog is just too much for him to bear. :o

Maybe I can start a Disc Golf column and get an increase in the current 3% of OSU student participation in the bi-weekly minis. I think Stillwater is virtual goldmine in new blood. I think all Tulsa players would improve with a new source of players to challenge us. And I think that I can help get this SHITE going. Or at least look into the situation a little more. :D

Coming into Sapulpa from the north on highway 66; highway 66 turns into Mission Street. Go south to Taft Street (youll see a Charlies Chicken), turn right (west) onto Taft and go to the next stop light, Main Street (youll see a McDonalds), turn left (south) onto Main and go just pat Locke plumbing supply and turn left (east) on the first road you can turn on past the bridge over the creek, I believe the street is Jackson, after turning take your first left (north) onto Water Street, follow the street as it turns right (east) and at the stop sign turn left (north), when you get to the end of mobile home row look to your rightyoure there.
If you come in from the east (Beeline) exit onto highway 117 (121st Street), go west. Highway 117 turns into Taft Street, go to the McDonalds.see above directions. :) :D:cool:

my bad :oit's not Jackson Street, it's Mill Street. also, the highway coming into Sapulpa from the north isn't 75 as shown on the map, it's 66, 75 is the Beeline. ;)

Aug 17 2005, 11:52 AM

Remember our golfing buddy, Justin Archambo???

Check it out:

Below. This is what I sent my partents this morning. Sheri and I got engaged this past weekend mmmmmkkkay! I could re-type it but I just figured I would forward what I sent earlier this morning. Cant wait to celebrate with you guys in T-town this weekend.

Well its official. Im engaged to the beautiful soon to be Mrs. Sheri Desire Archambo. I apologized I havent called anyone yet but we wanted to enjoy the weekend before we broke the big news so Ill be placing all the calls today.

I asked her to marry me Saturday morning while she was still lying in bed (not a sleep of course) and she said YES! Of course, who wouldnt marry me? Im a sexy handsome Archambo HAAAA. I had a really romantic weekend planned so we packed a bag and drove over to beautiful Sun Valley for a romantic evening. I booked us a two room parlor suite with a fireplace at the Sun Valley Lodge. This room is SAWEET. The views were awesome and we overlooked an ice skating rink which was really neat. We shopped during the day, then headed back to the room around six and had some wine/cheese and sat around the fire and talked for a couple of hours before we headed out to Dinner. It was just awesome We had dinner at this really neat restaurant called the Pioneer (suggested by my boss) and we had two of the most incredible tasting filets to date. Plus, we had a very nice bottle of 2001 Pinot Noir from Oregon. Theyre famous for their Pinot Noir From there we went back to the room and had a pillow fight and a wrestling match. Shes such a wimp. J I cant wait to tell all of you about it in a few days. Were SO excited to get married and finally start a family. Love you guys.. Oh, I attached a pic of the ring, Its exactly what she wanted!

Tell Arcie to ask permission if he can play skins.
Tell him we will start him on beautifull hole number 8 that has a spectacular view of a clear running stream, surrounded by majestic trees and local wild life. We will also provide him with some premium local brew and a pack of lance cheese and crackers to go with it. After he has had time to enjoy a relaxing walk through the natrual settings we can all sit down and have some quality time together. :D:o:D
