Ihaven't received any emails and we can only accept cash, money order or checks.

Pay Pal's transaction fees are way too much and since their is no money to be made off of the PDGA renewals, it would cost the club money to use PayPal.

Sorry.

Dave and I played at Hunter this afternoon (yes, in the 35+ mph winds!). It was a lot of fun. But, to get to my point...there were two signs that had blown off of the posts. I picked them up so that they wouldn't get lost. I have the signs for 9 and 10 in my bag. Anyone wanna offer to put them back up? 15's sign was already missing by the time I got to the hole...it's probably in Vinita by now!

25 years ago, and way too soon.........

Not only too soon, but for what reason? How can someone murder a person who stands for a "love all" society? Another issue is :owhat is the fuc*in problem with people just treating each other with respect? (Once again *Imagine Peace*) This would [i]undoubtedly make our society better off... Lennon, a man who stands up for equality and harmony, should be put on the pedestal of an international hero. :D Bless his sole, may he rest in peace

Wouldnt you know it. I am fortunate enough to have a great photo (courtesy of Gary Nail) of myself making a good putt, posted on the board, only to realize that upon further review, someone appears to be taking a "break" in the background. Is somebody trying to tell me something? Will my stellar career always be chained to this controversial photo? What is a guy to do? I can only hope that at the Am Worlds this year, I will be photographed in a moment of brilliance or style without an unidentified and shadowy figure in the background possibly making a subtle statement about my game. The "Real World Champion" will rise again. Peacefrog and Donovan

I hear you Doc. For years now true greatness has been elusive for me. I've read all the Kevin McCoy "DG for Dummies" books, saw his movie on DVD and even shaved my cat's butt to resemble him. Still the glory of victory always seems to shine on my competitors. I can only assume that at some point Bud or his dog Bubba wizzed on my DG bag when I wasn't looking. :(

That explains the problem...are you a dummy? If not, that book's not for you! You gotta find the book "Disc Golf for Older Sexually Ambiguous Men Who Look Like Dead Hippie Rock Stars"

Yeah, ok, maybe 'ambiguous' is unfair, but I HAVE seen that pic of you with the sheep :D

sschumacher
Jan 06 2006, 12:53 PM
Yea. I kind of miss that sheep. :(....We grew together on the farm. I was a border collie at the time and she was just a lamb. I saved her from the farmers dinner table and we eloped to the wilderness. For twenty years there was bliss but one day in a canyon called Horseshoe, she ran off with a low life Twoputt-er....She said I never took her anywhere and she was tired of spending her days in the closet. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif...I offered to go to counseling but it was too late. She said that this Twoputt guy was younger than me and that he knew how to blow inflatables better than me. He promised to take her everywhere in his truck and since he sold insurance, he had nothing to do all day but devote all his time to her. :(

The divorce cost me big time. She took my water bowl, my vodka, and half my dog house. She even ate all the grass on my lawn. Last I heard she left Twoputt. Left him tied to a tree somewhere. Something about his short putter not being what she was accustomed to..... :o She's out there somewhere my friend so watch out. Focus on you wife and child and never go near the barn because I'll tell you. Love Stinks!!!! :p :D

Pablo
Jan 06 2006, 01:26 PM
I knew he was "Twoputt" but never realized he forgot to put the word "inch" in between the "two" and the "putt"

No worries for me, brother, I'm a city boy. No sheep for me, as they're considered 'livestock'

As I learned with my ex-wife, divorce is so expensive because IT'S WORTH IT!!! Move on, brother, you're better now that she's gone :D

What I will do when I win the lottery:

1) Supply Wayne Forest with a lifetime supply of motor oil and anti-freeze.

2) Design and manufacture a Furdog action figure. Complete with couch, TV, case of beer, and a universal remote. :)

3) Buy an insurance policy from Twoputt so he'll have something to do during the day. :o

4) Purchase Oscar Meyer Hot dog division and make "The Red Haired One" the CEO. ;)

5) Invent a woman that turns into a ham sandwich and a six pack of beer,....right after sex. :)

6) Buy the state of Oklahoma and rename the Oklahoma Open to "The Furdoogo Fiasco". :o

7) Invent a golf cart for DG'ers complete with couch, TV, case of beer, and a universal remote. :)

8) Purchase Southern Hills golf course, kick off all the ball golfers, and create a DG course where wearing tye-dye was mandatory.

9) Create a 24 hour infomercial program where Michell and Sellers can debate on whether to hyser or anihyser. :o

10) Develop an underwater DG park.

11) Have my arm surgically altered into a bionic arm so I can throw 1500 feet.

12) Build DG course with 1500 foot par 3 holes so I can park'em everytime. (Eat that Lund!!!) :D

13) Build a clubhouse at every DG course and add lights for night time play, open 24 hours a day, complete with Hooters girls, a couch, TV, beer, and a universal remote.

14) Hire Bud Johnson and Bubba to be my personal security team. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

15) Equip all pole holes with satalite tracking devices to catch the low-lifes that are stealing them.

See man (scratch scratch) it like a big conspiracy! See there are all of these secret factions of mutant people living in the sewers of Tulsa, and some in Owasso, that are plotting the downfall of the rest of human-kind!

See they have been stealing little bits of everyday life, and waiting....
.......and studying ......and calculating ......

They have been planning an attack ever since their creation! Luckily when I was a boy and I lived over by Bishop Kelly, I was riding my bike with my brother one day, and we saw a hand and an arm reach up out of the storm drain...

And ever since that day I have anticipated the revolution! The dominant faction call themselves the Ttupowt Skcus, and are, in my opinion, planning a large scale attack on 06 AM WORLDS!

Just trying to give you guys a heads up... ;)

But hey... you dont have to believe me... and I'm sorry to have to do this, but Wayne Forest is their "Upper World" contact. Supplying them with their favored form of currency (bottles of motor oil)...ask him, he will tell you about their plans...

Furdog, it was great seeing you in action today at Dovillio.

So, Wise and I played a round at Dovillio today. We get to hole 11, and a there's a black and white bird dog sitting patiently out in the middle of the fairway waiting for us to drive. I threw first, and he ran over and sniffed my disc. Obviously it didn't smell good enough, so he then returned to his position and awaited Wise's throw. Just before driving, Wise said "Watch this one". He threw a roller, and as the disc rolled right by the dog, he chased after it and picked it up. He started to run off toward a house, stopped and looked at us as if to say "Ha...screw you", and then took off running again. It was almost like he raised his little paw and gave us the bird. He disappeared behind the house. I found the dog in the middle of the back yard chewing on the bright orange Sidewinder. The little boy who answered the door was super cute too...he said "No, I don't have a black and white dog", as if he thought he was in trouble or something. His mom retrieved the unharmed disc and after laughing for about ten minutes, we merrily continued our round.

Hole 14...another funny story...as we walked to our discs after driving, Dave stepped in a huge hole fell flat on his face. I know I shouldn't have laughed, but I couldn't help myself. Good thing he wasn't hurt! But seriously, this hole was knee deep!

So, did ya get a speeding ticket on the way home, Wise?

Needless to say, it was a very funny and interesting afternoon at Dovillio today. And Furdog, we know you were behind it...

Did you hear that Wise????? :o....It says on the schedule that I am a Pro!!!! No years of practicing and working my butt off to move up through the ranks required.

One day I'm just a lowly novice and then..... ta-da!!!! I'm a Pro!!!! ....Now I can develop an attitude and start calling people for foot faults and courtesy violations. Now newbies will look at me in awe and worship the ground I walk on. People will want autographs and sports magazines will be calling me for interviews. :)

Special thanks to Kelly "keldog" Watson for his efforts to foster the relationship between the disc golfers in these two "sister cities". Kelly has donated a great deal of his time, money, and sweat over the years- and especially over the past several weeks. I appreciate your efforts.
