Only the Coffey's were witness to the lake monster incident. Metal took a couple of steps into the water, didn't even get knee deep when he stepped on a snake that turned and bit him on the foot. It'd be funnier if the snake tried to go up his butt or something but that was it; just a bite. Metal's disc retrieval service is out of business.

It has been know these holes will be taking, but the city also committed to land to replace the lost holes.

i am wondering if i should take a driver putter and midrange with me.. i had an offer from a guy to play a round with me at some 9 holer in brussels. or maybe i will get a ripe chance to rip one off at eagles nest. that would be uber-sweet.

If you take a driver, putter, and mid with you. I suspect you will simply stand at the box with all three, deeply contemplating which one to throw. So, my advice, is the putter. Gremlins on a plane make for cool sci fi episodes, but are unpleasant for the passengers and Teebirds are simply way to cool for Germany. ;)

I hope that 9 hole in Brussells isn't the same one I went to in 1992. Billy and I made a special trip to play a 9 hole course outside of Brussells and all it was were 9 stakes in the ground around a soft ball course. Hopefully times have changed.

PS - There are no courses listed in Belgium on the course directory. Maybe you should just bring your mini - you do throw it well (half way across the Brazos I believe).

i played the first course ever made in belgium south of namur. a 9 hole course with a guy i met online called, Pascal.

really nice guy who bought me a few beers after the round.

Nice job at the Memorial Lou - 9th of 19 is what I saw. We are so proud of you and perhaps a little jealous (Ahhhh Phoenix).
Metal I don't know what I am doing later in the month, just thinking about World Doubles this weekend in Wimberly.

Yup, 9th out of 20 players and 21 payors. I was in 6th and 5 strokes off the lead after the 2nd round but then the typical Am Red Rocker bad round kicked in.

I had a little bad luck and then lost my focus. I was +7 after the first 5 holes and never felt like I was completely back to normal but finished the round at +9.

I also got to meet a lot of cool people and got a couple Discraft prototypes, the Drone and an unnamed driver. :cool:

nice palying, lou. you had an 867 average for all three rounds during the tourney. that is way above your current rating.
