Guess who has the rock now - that's right Martin took it out of his little pouch he had been rearing it in and gave it to me. I hope I can be half the momma that he was to the rock, keeping it in the AC all the time, indoors, with cable, video games, and overnight poker sessions with the boys. I got the rock after Martin and I lost in doubles and I threw a crap shot for CTP and Martin nailed his. I have one last chance to get rid of it this weekend at Outlaws.

As endearing (and just down right special in my little heart ;)) to be a part of the red rock crew - I did not want to take the red rock of SHAME with me to Oklahoma. The goal has always been NOT to get the rock, despite a few of our members who have fallen under lorreta's spell at one time or another. Randy will be recieivng the yellow rock of cowardice for not showing up on Sunday (previously awarded to Tasker for those of you keeping up with awards). Metal will be passing the rock to him in the near future.

The scene is set. The cameraman quickly pans in and out of the smoke filled poker table. The final hand is being played. Martin is completely trashed, but no worry, these are southsiders he is playing against. Fosdick and Turbo play their weak hands for all they are worth, but they are no match for Martin's poker prowess. Congrats Martin and Claydog. I came home from golfing and immediately tuned into the game. First thing I saw was Danny Ainge's kid "throw" it out of the end zone. Did the microphone pick up him screaming like a little girl as he threw that "pass"? Soon, the camera was panning in on Doogie and the announcers were yapping about all the "incidences" involving Vol players. It was brutally ugly and I had seen too much.

I turned the channel to PBS for some different cultural programming. After two hours of PBS, I switched it back just to see how bad the beatdown was. Well, surprisingly, Doogie is leading them down for the tying field goal and handing the ball to Riggs. Boy, that guy is good.

There were three constants I noticed: Phil is still fat, Doogie still saves, and Les Miles is never safe with a big halftime lead.

Anyway, congrats on a big win.

Hello Red Rock of Shamers-

While leaving Peoria Laura and I decided that we also needed something like the Red Rock of Shame to carry between us ladies. We had a map a the beautiful town of Peoria that had been heavily used during our trip because of some major contruction, they do things wierd there. So the map has been torn and crumpled and used and abused. It also has some directions on it to a place called Sushi PoPo where we spent what might have been one of the wierdest nights in our lives. Now when I say wierdest in our lives you have to think about who was there, Laura, Mel and I. So you know it was wierd if we thought it was wierd. :D

Well after lots of strokes and traveling the map has come home, to live in my bag because I sucked the most there.

I have heard of a lot of Tasker sightings at local disc golf courses, but I am a sceptic. I know that Tom is alive, free of plumbing fixtures, and still the coolest rocker. I also know that the Hitman is too heavy to carry around, even for the mighty Jose. I saw Metal retrieving orphans out of a lake, and all the hero wants in return, is Newcastle. Randy is still willing to sacrifice a nice spring weekend to be part of the lefty-righty combo. Turbo has become Tasker-like in his lack of visibility at the course, and Lou is going berserk over his new "wraith of Lou." I mean, come on, my wraith is pretty cool too, but I don't inject it into my username. :p
