Hi everybody...

Its been a while since I've posted.
I have been very very busy.
For those who don't know I recently joined a Fire Academy for Travis County.
It is a six month class with a BRUTAL physical training course.
So I don't get to play disc golf that much at all. :mad::mad::mad:

It looks like I will be keeping Loertta home for a while.
Hopefully for not that long.
I think of it as quality time with her, since metal always has her :D

Are red "roc" discs really rare? Someone told me they are hard to find and only a few were made. And they was eyeballing mine.......

Come to think of it, I don't see many new red rocs, but I'm pretty oblivious to my surroundings. I get the feeling that none of these guys eyeball their Red Rock (the picture upthread nonwithstanding).

ps. I really don't understand this thread, Hicks tried to explain it to me once, but all I remember him saying is that he never has the Red Rock and that it's always in one of y'alls hands. :o

i hurt myself driving on 14, pulled something in my back.
i had to adapt a new(older) throwing style on the drives, with spins after release.

the funny thing about that drive, was looking like a ACE RUN, but it got stuck in the bush that guards the basket.
it was chain high sitting in the bush,and looked like it would have gone in.

Going to Our Savior Lutheran Church to play some night golf with My Boy Lou and Hicks. Anyone ever played this course?

If it's the one at the end of Yeager, I went out one night to meet Iceman, but he didn't show. While you can play at night, it is not as well lit as I had thought. The holes I saw were all midrange/putter shots. Tell Hicks no "goddamitts" out there, that's scared ground.

I'm bringing a few glow sticks so we should be all right.

Cris "the Hitman" Hicks is so <font color="red"> HOT </font> that I don't think anyone will hold it against him. :)

I was right about the Hitman. He smacked the large cross throwing hole 9 and then put in the 80 footer for bird.

I don't know if they are intentional obstacles but it doesn't feel right throwing at those crosses in the fairway. :confused:

I warned you about Hicks. I bet he hit the cross and said "godammit." ;) The reason Hicks is so hot is because he is now two steps closer to the eternal fire.

Send your love out to Big Tom, he will be unable to play for awhile. He had a "code red" yesterday on the weight bench and ripped some muscles in his chest (right side throwing arm) and had to be taken to the hospital. Today he is riding the couch on a Vicadin benge. Maybe Jose can give him some tips on using the ole left hand... for disc golf that is.
Hicks is now dedicating the season and his first post on the new board (or whichever proves to be more eventful) to Big Tom.
