New 2012 POY/ROY Process

The PDGA Board of Directors has approved a new point system to determine the annual Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards.  The system is designed to award points based on tournament performance and will be easier for players and members to track.  The system will be used for the 2012 tournament season for all North American players for the  POY/ROY awards presented in 2013.  PDGA Europe will use a similar system based on their events to determine their annual award winners.

The 2014 PDGA Player of the Year/Rookie of the Year calculations for Men and Women in North America are displayed below. The calculations are based solely on 2014 PDGA Tour data submitted to the PDGA Office through the November 25, 2014 ratings update plus USDGC. The top rookies in each division are highlighted.

Note: Players must be current PDGA members to be included in these calculations.
