On Tuesday evening September 4th, the PDGA Board of Directors met for the September monthly teleconference. The first order of business was the election of Board officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

The votes from the 2012 PDGA elections are in and have been counted. The elections took place last month and voting ended on July 31st. 15,561 ballots were sent out to eligible members with 2,990 members voting, representing a participation rate of 19.21% of eligible voters.

The PDGA Board formed the Nominating Committee at the 2011 Spring Summit. The overall goal of the committee is to enhance the quality of the election pool for the Board, ultimately improving the effectiveness of the elected Board.

On Tuesday evening April 10th, the PDGA Board of Directors met for the April monthly teleconference. The first order of business was to elect a new president to replace Dave Nesbitt, who recently resigned his position on the board. In an historical vote, Rebecca Duffy was unanimously elected to serve as the Board President and Commissioner of the PDGA.
