World Ranking Update

Tuesday, May 28, 2013 - 14:38

The latest World Rankings have been updated including the results of the recent Major in Denmark, the Copenhagen Open. No surprises. Ricky Wysocki remains on top with a little tighter grip than before over Will Schusterick in second. But the other eight in the top 10 moved up slightly closer in points. Cale Leiviska and Nikko Locastro are in good position to move higher with the results of the almost 2-yr old European Open being replaced and a chance for a better finish at Pro Worlds in the August Rankings update.

Valarie Jenkins and Catrina Ulibarri also remain deadlocked at the top. The women trailing are ever so slightly improving their ratings to potentially challenge for the top. Paige Pierce's early season play and track record put her in an excellent position to become #1 with a win or perhaps even 2nd at the upcoming Pro Worlds.

The next World Ranking update in mid-July will happen before the European Open but will include the results from three NTs in June: Discraft Great Lakes Open, Kansas City Wide Open and the Beaver State Fling.
