As far as I know, this is the only course within an hour drive. I am glad they finally put one in. We needed it. It is a 9 hole course. Tee 1 is to the East of the parking area next to the walking trail going into the woods. All holes are par 3. There is an informational plaque at each amateur tee (red rocks)showing the layout of the hole and general location of the pro tees (yellow rock) and kids tees (blue rock)in relationship to the sign. Unfortunately some of the pro tees and kids tees were very hard to find. Some were never found by me. They are painted rocks. not sure if vandals carried them off or they got covered with dirt. Playing from the amateur tees is what most people around here will be doing. There are a lot of trees. Lots of grade changes, I would guess 10-12 feet max from tee to basket. Only holes 1 and 4 are level. There are no marked "out of bounds" areas, but there is a large dry creek to the South that can add some grief if you have to cross it as there are not many good places to cross. I would recommend tennis shoes and not flip flops or sandals as you are in the "woods" and do need to cross a smaller ditch a couple of times. Looking forward to an additional 9 holes here or more holes at another park.
